Pick for Me Challenge!!!

Come one, come all! You know you wanna...

1. Create a new shelf, or update the existing shelf on your Goodreads profile, that includes approximately 20 books that you would like to have someone else use to pick a book for you to read. Label it "Pick For Me." Only books from this designated shelf will be selected for this challenge, (no matter how badly some of us want to pick something else...hint hint, ME, Michele...*giggle*)!

2. Post in this thread that you want to participate this month. If you don't post here, I don't know you want in.

3. Provide the link to your Pick For Me shelf, (this will make it a bit easier for all parties involved... unless you all really *want* to read The Raging Ones. *a new month, a new pick from me!*)

4. On July 1st, someone...the hand of fate, maybe, will use the randomizer to pair up everyone. (Or worst case scenario, I really will pick for everyone, and you *know* what that means, *shifty eyes*)

5. Friend your partner who is picking for you or set your profile to public or your partner will not be able to access your shelf.

6. Post your selection for your partner in this thread.

7. Come back after finishing the book selected for you by your partner (even if it's after the month has ended) and let everybody know what you think about it, or at least that you've finished...or DNF'd it (another book off your list is always a win in our book!)

**The sign up period will remain open until pairs are posted on July 1st and you'll have until July 4th to select a book for your partner or one of these other pick-happy little moppets will jump in and do it for you.**

Sample shelf: Grey's Pick For Me

Lynette Habak (lhabak) i finished No Tomorrow
i give it 3 stars. I know I know, how could I?! Well with having OCD i have a different perspective. It was frustrated with how everyone kept missing the red flags and little things he said and did. I know it was supposed to be set back 10 years prior and not a lot of people were aware back then. The Narrator spoke very slow too. I did however love the last 25% of the book when things started to move. I love her books and this one just didn't hit the mark for me.

sorry :(

Thanks, friend, I think I'll be okay... July 1st we are going to be stopped for a couple days at Mt. Rushmore...so I will be able to choosing for everyone with no big deal! But thank you anyway! It is also my wedding anniversary, cool, huh?

Lynette Habak (lhabak) Please I hope none of you are disappointed in my review of No Tomorrow. I did like it. When it comes to this subject in a story it is touchy with me. It can bring on memories of struggling with mental illness. The flow was off for me on this one. It just wasn’t one of my favorites 😊

message 23: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Aiello (lisaaiello) | 2460 comments Lynette, all that matters is that you read it and marked another one off your TBR pile. And, of course, how you feel about the "C" book and Tony from the Consequences Series!!!

Nay (4ukcats) Judy and Michele--if ya'll ever BR the Consequences series, I want to join in at the 3rd book. I read the first two and for some reason never continued.

I also want to read The Brother if y'all ever do.

Ela--did you ever read The Fallen: Genesis (the prequel) by Tillie Cole? The first book in the series, Raphael, is out now. These are super dark, taboo, and K. Webster-y. I'm reading Raphael as soon as I get a break.

message 42: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Aiello (lisaaiello) | 2460 comments Elabelle - I hear this one is VERRRRRRY f'ed up dark, with not a lot of romance aspect to it, other than Stockholm Syndrome.

I Know What Love Is (I Know..., #1) by Whitney Bianca

I don't think you've read it yet, but have it on your list
