I do love your synopsis, even if your hate is unjustified ;) I never made it past book 1. As much as I hated the ending, I didn't especially want to be "healed" or go any farther, so I chose to leave my heart in a mess right there.

There were a few small errors in the details...but for the most part you nailed it.
