Are you one of the ones that dislikes dual pov? If not, you will probably love it. Its very emotional and pretzel tummy inducing but swoony too. 🙂

I want to hop into Finding Eden but I'm on mini vacay and I only have it on audio. Haven't had chance to do any listening yet. Im dying for it though and hope some of my questions will be answered. 🤓

Nah, I don't care. Dual, single...I don't care, as long as it's written well, I'll read anything. Hmmm, adding...LOL!

I liked that it didnt feel like fiction. It was like reading about a real life Hollywood legend.

Michele (guilliem) | 2131 comments I'm checking in to remove myself from "slacker status". I completed my read over the weekend. How to Save a Life by Emma Scott was (of course) a 5 star read for me. I could have given it 5 stars before I even started it...lol. Thanks Teri for the nudge to read it...I've wanted to for a while and it was such a great book!

message 220: by Marissa (new)

Marissa (marissadonofrio) | 169 comments I finished Grip (Grip, #1) by Kennedy Ryan . It took me a bit longer since I needed to read Flow first, which I loved. Flow was easily a 4.5 star read for me but sadly Grip was just ok in my opinion. The first half was really good, I was invested and looking forward to seeing them move forward. Unfortunately, the second half just got ridiculous. I know I’m in the minority on this one but you win some, you lose some. My final rating for Grip is 3 stars. I’m glad I can check it off my TBR. Thank you for the pick, Judy!

Marissa, glad you somewhat enjoyed it and not a total bust! lol

I'm so sorry Grey, but I dnf'd Heartache and Hope at 71%. It started strong, but there was a point where the author lost me with her lack of research and the story lost momentum. (view spoiler) I would say that 71% is nearly a whole book, though. 😜

message 223: by Kim (new)

Kim Carter | 140 comments Ok, I finally finished Never Stop Falling by Ashley Drew, I think it was more of a "it's not you, it's me". I really enjoyed Nick's character, but I just didn't like Corinne, like AT ALL. 3 stars.

I'm so sorry. You know how your medical background can sometimes turn you off when a story gets the medical facts majorly wrong? Well, (view spoiler)

Nay (4ukcats) **4-1/2 Stars for We Were Here (Modern Love Stories, #1) by Daisy Prescott

I forgot to mention that I finished We Were Here. I was vacillating between 3-1/2 and 4 stars (probably more toward 4) because I got bogged down a bit in the middle; however, when I got to the last few chapters, I was completely enthralled and it brought my rating up to a solid 4-1/2 stars.

The writing is excellent, btw, and I loved the characters. I'm trying to get started on Geoducks are for Lovers, but I keep getting sidetracked. I'm looking forward to seeing where everything goes with these characters fifteen years later.

Leslie--thanks so much for making me finally read this! I think you'd really enjoy it. Most of my getting bogged down a bit in the middle was probably due to the fast-moving pace of all the thrillers I've been reading lately and/or the fact that I kept having to stop with my porch cleaning project. I truly loved reading about this group's college years. It brought back some great memories!

I've done that with several authors with similar names, and unfortunately for the other authors, I've totally skipped over their books. Sad, I know.
