Me too!! Can't wait :)
This is ARC book So my review will later. I have read some of Lena Jones book and like Lena is retired cop (Scottsdale,Arizona) and now a PI. At the age of 4 years she was found shot in the face. She grew in foster homes. Her partner is a Prima Indian. This series is definitely on list to read when I find a book.In this one Lena is called to meet a Senate candidate privately. She is hired to investage murders of the husband, his wife and 10 year old son. His 14 year old daughterand boyfriend have confessed to the killings.
There is a brand new mystery in the Gaslight series by Victoria Thompson coming out soon.... I've read all but the last 1 or 2, and enjoyed them.

      I'm going to be starting

as soon as I get my new Kindle Fire. Just lost my KF last night. It was only 14 months old.

No, my Kindle outlived the warranty by two months. I really thought it would last longer than that. But I got a new one for $99 (reg price $139). So, I was happy with Amazon for that.

My Kindle is over a year old. This is the 3rd one. The first 2 went out in a couple of months. Office Depot replace them. I brought a 2 year warranty at that time. I have notice since Amazon update their software there are problems again.

So far, I've been lucky with my Kindle. I did lose the first one and had to get a new one. I never take it out of the apartment anymore. Seems to be working fine for me. I've had it for over a year.

Kirsten, I just love the Chief Inspector Armand Gamache series. Perfect for when I'm looking for a slower paced easy read.

I've had Still Life on Audible for years. Glad to get the chance to read it. Now, I just need my new Kindle Fire to show up.

Me, too! Me, too! Will let you know @DianeAlice. (You're like all my mom's friends from high schools with two first names! LOL!)

Started the BOTM The Girl With A Clock For A Heart.Started a few more books, and may read them in between to pace myself to the discussion.
Just finished Take one with you (my review). Interesting idea, very real, but not very good executed.
Kirsten wrote: "Quality tells."So right, Kirsten! This series gets better with each book as the author develops the relationships among the characters. I did think Still Life was a little slow, but am so glad I stuck with it. Have listened to some of the books and have read others and enjoyed both formats.
I am going to be starting Emperor Nortons Ghost. I have read most of the series but forgot this one.

I plan on reading Sutton next because of my book group. Next after that is Gone Girl because I want to see the movie.

After I finish The Casual Vacancy I will be reading Murder Must Advertise and listening to Dying To Tell

I loved that book! A must for anybody who is a dog lover.

After reading The Girl With A Clock For A Heart by Peter Swanson, I'm in the mood to read So Wicked My Love By Bruno Fischer again since this book has a femme fatale character and a guy who is interested in her although the difference here is that he isn't a sap.

I would say that you can put it on the bookshelf and see if more people would join you but it's up to you. Would like to see more books go in there.

No, it's a buddy read in another group. If I put up a buddy read that's an "In Death" book, I'd nominate the first book Naked in Death
      Just finished In the woods

loved it. I am now starting two books one is The Sandman

and the other is not a mystery in a who dunn it sort of way, the book is the lost sisterhood.

Looking forward to soon beginning The Blind Barber by John Dickson Carr. It promises to be a great whodunit read.

Have to get to that one as well. I like Carr.

I will be listening to the audiobook Defending Jacob by William Landay and reading a library book Killer Frost by Jennifer Estep
