The Longest Ride - I think I'd probably like the movie more, but that's because I haven't read a Nicholas Sparks book in maybe ever. I think it's because he's so popular and I have an aversion to that - it's the same reason I didn't read Nora Roberts for so long! But now that I've read her, I'm feeling a little stupid for passing over authors like Nicholas Sparks. I'll have to change that.

I loved Kiss Quotient. Great characters. Wish You Were Here sounds like so much fun, very Sophie Kinsella-ish.

So far I'm not doing exceptionally well. I've already read Beyond the Bright Sea and Yours which were in my iTunes. But that's kind of cheating, so I'll pick out some now since I just reorganized my shelves of print books!
1. Sublime (Elizabeth Louise & Cal Wembly)
2. Searching for Beautiful (Madeline Maby)
3. Map of the Heart (Christina Traister)
I know I'm going to like Cal Wembly because he's Kirby Heyborne. I've never liked Elizabeth Louise but she might be ok sped up to 1.5 speed. I love Madeline Maby. Christina Traister - she's ok but again, sped up will be much better. I've had these print books on my shelves for far too long - we'll see if they'll stay!
I can't believe I do not have one cowboy romance on my shelves. I need to try a good Maisey Yates book - she's always great at those.

Well, I got to one of my 3 challenges. Searching for Beautiful by Jennifer Probst was my only book this month. It was just ok; I didn't love it or hate it. I wonder if Jennifer Probst is for me. This book just felt like a recycled runaway bride plot that's been done better and certainly funnier. She's such a popular author that I think I should keep trying with her books. But for now, I was somewhat disappointed in Searching for Beautiful.

New challenge for June! Let's read our own books and clear out some shelf space.
1. Pick the book you keep meaning to pick up but keep passing because, well, shiny! Squirrel! New book just released!
2. Pick the book you look at and think 'that seemed like a good idea at the time . . . '
3. Pick a book about cowboys.
Add your name below and list these things:
1. The 3 books you plan to read
2. The format and genre of the book
Come back as you complete the challenge and add in details about your books - i.e., a jpg of the cover, your rating, etc.
Feel free to crow if you totally smash this challenge with more than 3 books.
