Sorry guys I'm trying to get the purple. Should be done in about 3 and half hours. Audiobook. I just saw we needed it so I changes what I was doing to get this. I'll post it as soon as I'm done.

We'll just get the next buckets lined up.
Hey everyone,I've just finished Conversations with Friends which doesn't fit any prompts but we can use it for the pages. I've done today's game and added my pages to the spreadsheet.
I'm not reading anything that would work for Bucket 9, but I'm reading The Sun Is Also a Star which could work for either prompt in Bucket 10. I also have two books I could read with a child as a main character - The Queen's Fool and George. I think I'll start them both, and see how I get on. If we need that prompt completed quickly, George is a lot shorter. My hold on The Mars Room is also due soon, so that would give us another option for the celestial body prompt.
Finished Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman. 286 pages. Could be used for purple cover, if the slot is not filled.
Looks like I got deleted from the games section of the spreadsheet! Anyway, I've done all four if it's ok to add me back.

Bucket 8 is done! Feel free to finish those bucket 9 books! Maybe I'll take a quick (but longer than these updates) afternoon break in a bit to cross one off.
Mods - We have 3 questions for our second author!1. Games 7 - Is the author a female?
2. Games 8 - Is the author alive?
3. Bucket 8 - Does the author's surname start with a letter A through L?
finished purple with Geekerella. I'm on phone and cant add to spreadsheet but it's done. will add it when I get home in about an hour and a half
1. Games 7 - Is the author a female? YES2. Games 8 - Is the author alive? YES
3. Bucket 8 - Does the author's surname start with a letter A through L? YES
Book in which any kind of sport/game is important to the story The Silver Linings Playbook finished 6/10/19p. 289 (pages and book have already been added to the spreadsheet).
I finished Fun Home: A Family Tragicomic, which spans several years. We just need one more book that spans several years for bucket 9.
I'll start reading a book with an epilogue tonight in case we need it.
What happens if we run out of buckets? Are more added? Sorry, I have never done this before and I was just wondering. Thanks
Yes, we can add more buckets if needed. If we play this one again, we will definitely be upping the goals :)
hello from the English Insomniac - mine spans several years but I am only 30% through and may yet fall asleep. I will read some whilst I am awake though
I will be able to get one done tomorrow for a book that spans several years but I just realized the time and need to get to bed lol. I have to be able to get up for work in the morning lol
I finished Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino (which was a really beautiful book), but only counted toward page count. I doubt I will be able to start and finish A Million Junes for bucket 10 before other people beat me to it so I'm going to start reading The Ocean at the End of the Lane which has an epilogue. It's only 237 pages so I might be able to finish it tomorrow night assuming we've made it to bucket 11 by then.
Sorry- it was definitely a Monday.I completed the game and I updated my pages read. I'll read a little bit before I go to bed tonight as well.
You all are kicking butt!
I just noticed, most of our bucket 10 options are Hannah. Do we need people to focus on any bucket 10 prompts? Hannah's post reminded me I have George on my kindle and could read that since Karissa is starting a book with an epilogue.
I should finish Where the Mountain Meets the Moon tonight. It fits either celestial or about a child category for bucket 10.Into the Beautiful North is another book I'm reading and it has an epilogue in case we need it. I've entered both books under my name in planning.
I am currently reading a book that spans years but I still have 7 hours left on the audiobook so probably won't be able to finish it until tomorrow. It can also be used for the celestial body prompt because it has stars on the cover.
I picked up George, so it looks like we'll have a few options for bucket 10 after we get bucket 9 finished. We've read 21,149 pages in 4 days -- that's a ton of reading!
I finished Where the Mountain Meets the Moon so I just added the pages I read today since we aren't on Bucket 10 yet.
I read 60 pages of Victoria and did the My Favorite Things game. On my phone so I can update the sheet tomorrow.
These last days were way busier than I thought. I hadn't had much reading time. :( But I'll finish a book tomorrow. It could also work for something with an epilogue.
I have finished Becoming Mrs. Lewisspans several years
am invigilating today and have to leave now i will put pages in later if someone can do task input for me
Entered Marie's Becoming Mrs. Lewis to complete Bucket 9, and A Sound Like Thunder for our first child character book on the spreadsheet.
I’m bringing The Enchanted Castle with me to work, so I'll post when I finish it for a child character book.
I attempted today's game. I just recognized one movie so I guess that still counts for playing the game.
I’ve finished The Sun is Also a Star for either prompt in Bucket 10. I’m on my phone though, so I can’t update the spreadsheet. I’ll do this when I get home in a couple of hours.
Hannah wrote: "I’ve finished The Sun is Also a Star for either prompt in Bucket 10. I’m on my phone though, so I can’t update the spreadsheet. I’ll do this when I get home in a couple of hours."I added it to the spreadsheet for celestial body but left a note that it works for both.
Anyone have one in mind for interesting /beautiful spine? Marie had mentioned Fawkes at one point. We have 2 more questions. Right now we know our second author is a female who is still alive whose surname starts with A-L.
Please put out some ideas for questions!
For all of you saying you can't update the spreadsheet from your phone, you know there's a google sheets app, right? I always update my own spreadsheet from my phone and never had any issue with it 😉
For anyone who felt stumped by the movie game, I added a note on that post that linked to Bookstr, where the game came from. They included multiple choice options for each movie, if that might make it more fun for people. But of course, you aren't required to get all the answers to count toward playing the game.
Bucket 10 is now done! The two tasks for bucket 11 are 1 book with an epilogue and 1 book with an interesting/beautiful spine. We also have 3 questions we can ask, so fire away if you have anything you'd like to ask.
I like Fawkes spine but the only epilogue book I have is going to take a bit longer to finish - it is non fiction and requires concentration
I have about 2 hours left of a book with an epilogue and will finish it once I'm home from work today.
Hi everyone. I'm currently reading Kilmeny of the Orchard. My copy has a gold and green spine which is quite fancy if you need it for that prompt?
It looks like we are quite close to having books for bucket 11 read, so I’m just reading a few chapters at a time for the books I’ve already started reading, If/When we get more buckets, I can always switch to reading something that fits better. For questions, I really think the 1001 books list question worked well as we were able to focus on narrowing down specific authors, so I’d be happy to ask that again.
Or we could try to work out when they were born. For example, Was she born before 1975? (Or other date), and then narrow it down further from that.
