I am now switching the book used for this task previously to Nanaville: Adventures in Grandparenting by Anna Quindlen. I listened to the audiobook, linked to the hardcover edition (only pb edition appears to be large print).
According to her GR bio, Ms. Quindlen's birthday is July 8.
I will be using my earlier book, My Life as a Rat, later.
