Questions or problems with completed task posts will be posted here.

If you have questions about your points on the Readerboard:

1. Make sure that the Readerboard has been updated through the post that you are concerned about.
2. Please check your math.
3. Check to see if one of your posts is listed in this thread with a question. If so, please make a NEW POST in the Completed tasks thread to clear up the question. DO NOT go back and edit the original post. I will not go backwards in the completed task thread to pick up points.
4. To avoid further questions/problems, please refer to the TASK DESCRIPTIONS and the POSTING REQUIREMENTS.

Thank you for helping keep the record keeping for the challenge as manageable as possible.

Task 20.7 requires that the book you read have a MPG that matches the number you rolled. You rolled a 2. Your genres are: SCIENCE FICTION or FANTASY, which means the book you read must have one of those MPG.

At time of review, Ask Again, Yes had the following MPGs:
GENRES
Fiction 167 users
Contemporary 70 users
Literary Fiction 42 users

At the time of review, The Con Artist: A Novel has a MPG Sequential Art > Graphic Novels:

GENRES
Mystery 36 users
Fiction 18 users
Humor 9 users
Sequential Art > Graphic Novels 7 users
Mystery > Crime 6 users

If it clearly is not a graphic novel, you need to ask for approval in the Not Really a Comic Book/Graphic Novel thread in General Help and post a link to that approval when you post to use the book for a 20-, 25-, or 30-point task.

We have quite a few Stephanies currently in the challenge as well as in our archives. Please repost (make a NEW post in the Completed Task thread) that includes all the information in post 76 with your Readerboard name at the top of your post. The easiest way to do this is to go to your original post, click edit, select all and copy. Then cancel the edit, paste the task into a new post, and put your Readerboard name at the top. This will maintain book links and other formatting. DO NOT go back and edit your original post. I will not go backwards in the completed task thread to pick up points.

You've claimed task 10.5, but from the title provided I think you mean 10.6. No need to repost, just make sure your records show the correct task claimed.

Ah, looks like I noted down the pages wrong. N or M? is #44 on Espionage list, p.1. Not finding Back Story, but I'm backtracking through the lists. Will repost when found.

Task 30.8 requires that one of the authors shares a name with a Twin Authors and Writers. Only names within the section titled Twin Authors and Writers will work. Twins in Business will not. The names that fit the task are listed in post 2 of the Help Thread, as well.

Task 25.4 requires the combined page count for both books to be 501 or greater. We do not use Kindle page count in the SRC. See #2.7 in the Rules of the Challenge for instructions on how to determine page counts for ebooks.

The top mass market paperback (MMPB) for The Hollow by Agatha Christie is Le Vallon, which has 258 pages. When combined with your other book claimed for this task, the page count comes to 498.

Kristina Simon (kristinasimon) | 11203 comments Jammin Jenny - post 477

Just an FYI on this one - you points have been recorded.

The author on record (GRs record, that is) for the edition of The Unexpected Guest you've linked to is Charles Osborne. This is the novelization of Agatha Christie's play of the same name. I'm not sure if you read the novel or the play. The play is here: The Unexpected Guest by Agatha Christie.

In this case, it doesn't really matter since the initials of either author can be found in AURIC GOLDFINGER but it's something to be aware of in the future (the fact that we go with the author in the GRs record, I mean).

Task 10.8 specifically says you may only roll once. Since you didn't note down your first roll, to be fair, a mod should roll for you. Ask in the task's help thread for a new roll and we can go from there.

TraceyL | 1069 comments I have a newbie question here!

On June 7th I posted a completed task under readerboard name TraceyL for task 25.6. It used the books The Farm and Cari Mora to complete the task.

I've since realized that I can use The Farm for 30.8 the Twin Authors task. Can I cancel out that post? I don't know how soon points are calculated/added. I read through the rules and FAQ but didn't see anything about changing completed tasks which didn't actually have anything wrong with them.

I would read another book to take the place of The Farm for 25.6.

Thanks!
