Ed - post 2835This post is about Golden Oldie tickets ONLY. Task points have been recorded.
We go by the Goodreads record of a book. The GRs record for Savage Island; An Account of a Sojourn in Niu� and Tonga reports a publication date of October 13th 2018. If the book was first published on a different date, a GRs librarian will need to update the GRs record for you. You can find the thread where you can ask a GRs librarian to help you with this in the General Help folder.
Ed - post 2860The edition of In a Sunburned Country you've linked to has 335 pages, not 355. In combination with your other book, this brings your page total to 533, which is short of the 550 pages needed to meet the requirements of the task.

Thanks! I already found the replacement book: THE WATER IS WIDE by Pat Convoy! I double cheeked the MPG page and it will work for Nonfiction!

Joanne MI - post 2896Task 15.3, option 1 is a 2 book task. To get credit for this task, you must pair the book you've claimed with a 2nd book with the word "Pride" in the title.

TraceyL - post 3031Task 50.1 requires that all the books be written by a single author. Pan's Labyrinth will not work for this task becuase it is a collaboration between two authors (Guillermo del Toro and Cornelia Funke).

Barbara ★ - post 3174Kindle pages are not used in the SRC. From the Challenge Rules: 7. When determining page count, you should go by the copy you read- EXCEPT as noted below for ebooks, audiobooks, and large print books. Therefore, if you obtain (own, borrow, check out from the library, etc.) the hardback edition, use the page count for the hardback edition. If you obtain the paperback edition, use that page count.
If you read an ebook, or audiobook use the page count for the mass market paperback if one exists. If there is no mass market paperback edition, use the paperback edition and if no paperback is available use the hardcover edition.
The paperback edition of Wicked Flames has 443 pages and, therefore, will not work for Task 20.4, option 1.

Whoops! Thanks, Diane Whitney. I got so wrapped up in recording the BB ticket I forgot to add the task points to the spreadsheet! It's fixed on the spreadsheet now and your corrected total will show up in the next update.
@KristinaSimonWow, really? I had the links in the post. I wonder what happened? They should have been there. (sigh) I will repost correctly and hopefully the computer gremlins will not wipe them out this time.

For now, I've put the book in task 20.6 and recorded points for that task. If you want to change that, please make a post in the completed task thread indicating where you'd like to move the book.

Kathy KS - post 3257Generations and Change: genealogical perspectives in social history will not work for Task 15.7. From the Challenge Rules: Only authors that are identified as authors (or a default blank in the author role field), co-authors, or contributors may be used for tasks involving author information. Other roles or functions such as editor, illustrator, artist, translator, introduction, designed by, foreward, preface, assistant or afterword may not be used for author-sourced tasks.

I think I'm missing a golden oldie ticket. I claimed one in message 3100 and another in 3101. Both sets of points were recorded but my records have me at 11 GO tickets and I only see 10 on the readerboard.

Rach - post 3439Task 15.7 requires a book with a title that begins with a letter found in ROGUE ONE. A Darker Shade of Magic begins with an A.
Rach - post 3446Task 20.5 requires a book with a page count greater than 300. Travel as a Political Act has 209 pages.
M1nks - post 3486Task 25.5 requires the combined page total for both books to be at least 550 pages. The books you've claimed add up to 535 pages.

It's definitely there. The task asks for the page number not the actual number of the book which I think you might be thinking #24 refers to. The number of the book is #2249 at the present moment.
