I’m in the U.K so we don’t have the holiday you are celebrating in the U.S but it is a bank holiday and I’m looking forward to a three day weekend to get some serious reading done 😄

I'm interested in reading Circe. What do you think of it so far?

message 10: by Kent (new)

Kent Reed (kentr33d) Olivia, Circe is more than a story about the struggle of Greek god power. I believe if you replaced the words Gods with the mega rich. In other words, the mega Rich vs the lower classes, this story would work just as well. Circe keeps showing despite her coming into her own powers, she uses this in the guess she's coming into within the best means of kindness 4 for Humanity. I think you would enjoy the things she's having to overcome on her own without any help does anyone else. and I think that Madeline Miller keeps the integrity of the Greek god culture and methods that is what we know from historical records.
