778 That is a valid pseudo-ISBN, one used by Kobo.

rachel, x (typedtruths) | 1368 comments @Renske Really? I have never seen that type before. It just kept saying "invalid ISBN number" whenever I tried to edit the rest of the information. Thanks for letting me know. I will remember that for the future!

Renske | 12223 comments 781 The script that checks the ISBNs doesn't understand those pseudo-ISBNs, the other from BN with 294 will give the same warning. It is also confusing that while you see the edit page again, your edits are saved.

To separate...
Go to the books combine page, find the editions you want to separate. At the end of the list of editions is a link called separate tool.

Click on the separate tool link, then select the appropriate radio buttons for the two editions you wish to separate - and separate.

Renske | 12223 comments Rachel When we merge a edition, the reviews go to the most popular edition it is combined with at that moment. So if we want to merge an edition with an edition that is not the most popular edition, we separate the two editions form the other editions, do the merge and the reviews go to the right edition. After the merge is finished we combine it again with the other editions.

Looks like some one has separated them from the books they where combined with.

Please repost the books they need to be combined with and then merged

I recombined them with the proper edition, but I don't know if it will stay that way.
