Questions/Problems in Completed Tasks

Sisterland will not work for task 15.2. The task description specifically says plurals and possessives are fine, no other variations.

Please review the Posting Requirements effective Fall 2014.
-- It's fine to include more than one newly completed task in a post but if you do so the tasks must be listed in numerical order, lowest to highest.
Please repost (make a NEW post in the completed task thread) your tasks in numerical order.

I didn't read a kindle edition, I read a copy that doesn't come up in the add book/author. I looked through all of the pages that come up for that book. If there is a way to search with the ISBN# in that link, I can't find it sorry - there's book or author. That's why I put a link to my read shelf, the copy shows up there just fine. I apologize for not being clearer in my post.

5.8 - History
Read a book of biographical fiction- fiction that takes a real-life historical individual and recreates elements of their life as a fictional narrative. The historical individual must be a main participating character.
Half Broke Horses by Jeannette Walls
15.9 - Candy Corn
For this task, read a book with a cover that is predominately yellow, orange, white, dark brown, and/or black.
Required: Include the cover when you post.

The Next Breath does not appear to have a print version on Goodreads. Please see the Rules of the Challenge for information on the requirements for ebooks with no print editions and then repost (make a NEW post in the completed tasks thread) with the required information.

All tasks claimed for the SRC, including those in reposts, must have links to the books you read. Please repost this task including links. (Just copying a post does not copy the links. Hi Kristina, I read the posting instructions but I'm still not clear on whether I should repost or just tell you here. In post 4098, I accidentally posted task 5.6 when I meant 15.6. I should have 260 points, not 250.

Please review rule 7 for how to determine page numbers for ebooks. The qualifying print edition Motorcycle Man is 489 pages and is not eligible for a big book ticket.
In the future, to claim a big book ticket when you read an ebook or audiobook you must include the link to the edition you read AND the qualifying print edition

Sorry, sorry, I thought that would be repeating the obvious as it was just the one book. The rules don't say you have to and I don't post many GR authors so I don't know the unwritten ones. I'll remember for next time!
I have a New Years ambition to NOT appear to this list for the next challenge...

There are several Rebeccas participating in the challenge. Please repost this task with your Readerboard name at the TOP of you post.

Task 10.10 requires that you choose a book from one of two lists. It also requires that you state which of the two lists your book appears on and at what number on the list. Please repost this task with the required information. No need to repost the other tasks in this post. Those tasks have been recorded.

There is more than one Trish participating in the challenge. Please repost your task with your Readerboard name at the TOP of your post.

Darn, and I'd managed to remember almost every other time. Many apologies - reposted.

Please repost the tasks in this post with your Readerboard name at the TOP of your post.

Task 25.1 requires that each book be about a country or countries on a different continent from the one in which you currently live. Since you live in the US and Worse Than Watergate: The Secret Presidency of George W. Bush is set in the US, it will not work for this task.

Task 20.4 is a one book task (all the 20-point tasks are one book tasks). Please repost this task letting me know which book you'd like to use for this one and feel free to move the other books to another task.

Anne of Ingleside and The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making both have the genre 'children's' on their main pages. All children's books must be accompanied by information from AR Bookfinder as spelled out in the Rules of the Challenge: Effective Fall 2014.
Please repost task 25.7 with the required information. No need to repost the other tasks, they have been recorded.

Hahahahah! OMG - I am such an idiot!
How the heck could I possibly have missed that?...
I'll just repost with Once and Future King, I don't imagine I'll be able to find a spare slot for the Agatha Christie at this late stage. They are like popcorn for me anyway - they only take a few hours to read.

Hello,
I did post in 4203 that Patrick Rothfuss is a GRA. I'm not sure exactly what I did wrong? Please let me know and I'll repost.

Ok Will do! Do I repost the whole thing?

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets has the genre 'children's' on the book's main page. All books with children's on the main page must be accompanied by the AR Bookfinder data as spelled out in the Rules of the Challenge: Effective Fall 2014. Please review the rules and then repost (make a NEW post in the completed task thread), including the required information.
No need to repost the other task in this post. The points for that task have been recorded.

Murder Most Witchy does not appear to have a print version on Goodreads. Please see the Rules of the Challenge for information on the requirements for ebooks with no print editions and then repost (make a NEW post in the completed tasks thread) with the required information.

You've already claimed task 25.5 in post 4104 on Nov 20, 2014."

His Brother's Keeper has the genre "childrens" on its main page. Currently, as stated in the Rules of the Challenge: Effective Fall 2014, books with the genre "childrens" that do not appear in AR Bookfinder may only be used for task 5.10.

Task 15.9 requires that you include the cover when you post. Please repost this task including the required element. No need to repost the other tasks in this post. They have been recorded.

Sorry, but The Iron Daughter will not work for task 25.3, option 6. The Iron Fey series consists of books #1, #2, #3, and #4. There is no book #5. Numbers 4.4 and 4.5 do not count because the task description states: For options 5 and 6, you should only count whole numbers in a series - "in between" books such as 3.5 don't count.

You must use your Readerboard name on ALL posts in the completed task thread. Please repost these tasks (make a NEW post in the completed task thread) with your Readerboard name at the TOP of your posts. Please do NOT go back and edit or delete posts 4312-4324.
