Questions/Problems in Completed Tasks
Tea - post 2175The Blood of Olympus has the genre "children's" on its main page. No books with a main page genre of "childrens" or "kids" may be used for task 25.3.
Also, if you choose to move The Blood of Olympus to a different task, please review the Rules of the Challenge: Effective Fall 2014 and the Posting Requirements effective Fall 2014 first for information that must accompany any book with the genre "children's" on its main page and include the required information with the book when you repost.
❀Tea❀ wrote: "*sigh* I knew this will happen. It wasn't there when I posted.I'll repost the task. Thanks."
Just wondering - someone got Blood of Olympus verified as "not children's" I think back on the release date (10/10). Would Tea be able to use that approval?
if it was previosuly verified as no children, then she can use it - just needs to include the post number in her post
Kasia - post 2213The Graveyard Book has the genre "children's" on the book's main page. All books with children's on the main page must be accompanied by the AR Bookfinder data as spelled out in the Rules of the Challenge: Effective Fall 2014. Please review the rules and then repost (make a NEW post in the completed task thread), including the required information. Please DO NOT edit or delete post 2213.
Anita - post 2238Task 20.10 requires that you participate in the book's discussion thread with at least one post about the contents of the book or your reaction to the book after you have read the book. You can find the links to the discussion threads in the task description of task 20.10. Once you've made a comment in the book discussion thread, please repost this task as complete.
Julia103 - post 2264Sovereign of Stars does not appear to have a print version on Goodreads. Jamie NYC - post 2272I realize that The Art of Breathing is not a children's book, however, it does have the genre "children's" on its main page. As the Rules of the Challenge stand right now, the only task this book will work for is task 5.10.

Sorry about that, I've updated it now.

We do not go backwards in the completed task thread to pick up points so if you've updated post 1943, that will not work. You need to make an entirely NEW post with all the information and links included in order for your points to be picked up.
Barbara ★ - post 2297Wicked as They Come does not currently show the genre "Time Travel" on its main page. If you got the book pre-approved in the task help thread or the genre verification thread, please repost this task indicating which post the approval is in and in which thread.
Julia - post 2302We have several Julias in the challenge. Please repost your task (make a NEW post in the completed tasks thread) with your Readerboard name at the TOP of your post. Please DO NOT edit or delete post 2302.

Poongothai - post 2375The edition of The Last Temptation of Dr. Dalton you've linked to is an ebook. The only paperback edition that exists on Goodreads has no page numbers for verification purposes. Once that has been done, please repost your task including information about how it was verified.
Hina - post 2383Shadow's Passion appears to exist in ebook format only. If you've had the book approved for length, please repost and include the required verification information.

Hi, I reposted for 2361 with a link to the Paperback since I read the e-book, but for 2363 task 15.4 I read the hardcover and that is what I linked to so I'm not sure what I need to do to fix that one. Any guidance you could give would be appreciated. Thanks!
MICHAELA B - post 2425All posts for points, including reposts, must contain links to the books read. Please repost this task including links.

If you are claiming a big book ticket you need to include page count in your post
Ie - I read book x, it was 550pgs, claiming 1 big book ticket - or something like that
Ben K - post 2427Sorry, Ben. Smartcuts: How Hackers, Innovators, and Icons Accelerate Business doesn't really fit task 20.9, option 1. I see that the book is one of the New Releases Tagged "Business," but the task asks you to read a book from the first page of the Most Popular Business Books, which is here: Popular Business Books

Hi KristinaA slightly odd one here, but I think you have given me too many points!
My maths (double checked) has me on 500, not 510, on the basis that I have completed:
8 of 5 point tasks
8 of 10 point tasks
7 of 15 point tasks
7 of 20 point tasks
3 of 25 point tasks
2 of 30 point tasks
Thanks!

Something looked strange yesterday, but seems ok today. I've awarded the ticket. Sorry it was confusing.

Hi - I seem to be 10 points off. I double checked my math and I should have 355 not 345. I'm not sure where we varied - but maybe with my 10/7 post which was for 10.10 "It's Getting Dark Outside".I have checked this thread for issues and there hasn't been anything regarding that post

Problem found and fixed. Thanks, Catherine! Our numbers should match after the next update.

We have more than one Cynthia in the challenge, so it would be helpful on questions like this to include your Readerboard name. However, once I figured out that you're CYNBAXTER and not CYNTHIA, I did find one problem, which would bring your points up to 350. The Readerboard has only been updated to the Midpoint, which was post #2439. So, you last post, where you claim task 5.6 has not yet been counted. Once it has been, you'll be up to 355.
Annapoorni - post 2446Private India will not work for task 25.2, option A. In message 45 in the task help thread, task creator Elizabeth ruled that both author's initials of a co-authored book should be found in STRATEGY.
ColetteG - post 2460The edition of The Turn of the Screw you've linked to has only 87 pages, which would not work for a 15-point task. If this is not the edition you read, please repost this task linking to the edition you read.
Will do Kristina. Read a paperback so I just picked one. What is the page limit? It is a short book. Just on a Henry James kick, have plenty of other classics in my to read pile.ColetteG
