Update to msg #10✔️5. Oppa, Gangnam style! Read a book about someone you consider stylish or who considers themselves stylish. Life in Motion: An Unlikely Ballerina (Misty Copeland)
*If you've seen Misty performing the Firebird or dancing with Prince in his Loved Ones music video, you know she's gorgeous!

Just completed #8 (makeover) - To Wager Her Heart by Tamera Alexander. This was one of Alexander's better books. I really appreciate that she tackled real Southern issues, like racism and sexism, within the context of a sweet love story. And the Christian message isn't shoved into the story but is woven throughout. Worth reading! 4 stars1/10

Just completed #5 (stylish person) - Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid. One of the best audiobooks I've ever listened to! Excellent cast that just perfectly interpreted the author's writing. And the book was really interesting. And I give the author a ton of credit for coming up with her own lyrics and incorporating them within the book as though they were rock standards. My only criticism was I felt the ending was a bit quiet. Overall, though, it was a great experience! 4.5 stars2/10
Just completed #2 (book trending) - The Wedding Date by Jasmine Guillory. Wow, this book was exactly what I needed to read last night! As a "curvy" girl devoted to my public service job who finally gave up on dating, it was so lovely seeing someone who was like me on the page. Guillory's characters aren't perfect and have their own baggage, but it is told with a deft hand that slowly reveals their layers as they learn them about each other. It's not pie in the sky where everything magically works out, but it's real and yet still has a happy ending. And I loved the discussions of at-risk youth - so spot on!!!! Definitely worth reading! Guillory has cemented her place as a favorite and I'm going to read all of her stuff from now on! 5 stars3/10
Just completed #6 (fashion-holic) - The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid. I thought this would be a salacious, Hollywood tale, and it was, but then it took a hard left and stole my heart. I loved the characters! I loved how the author wove so many truths about women into the narrative in so many different ways and for so many different types of women. And the writing was fabulous! It's going to take me awhile to get over this one. Definitely worth reading! 5 stars4/10
