SOLVED. Book about a Girl in the Desert. [s]

I read it when I was in high school, so 2013-2017. It’s about a girl in the desert. I remember the words used were slang and hard to understand at times. She and her brother leave the desert. At one point, she ends up having to fight in an underground place because they were kidnapped. I know she Mets a cowboy like guy and I can’t remember much else. I feel like the title might have had the word “red” or “sun” in it.
Any help would be great.

I think the cover was red-ish and i remember them climbing a mountain to get to a tavern.

The girl is a teenager and it’s YA. I’m not sure what genre it belongs to specifically.
