College students who transform into werewolves?

I was reading an article about dogs, and the author mentioned an interesting sounding book. It is about college students who learn how to transform into werewolves, and use their new powers to fight evil.
Oh and there’s a wolf named Terra with the ability to transform into a human.
This is all that she wrote, it was written in 2011 so a little too late to ask her about the book.
