Task 5.10 Untouchable does not appear to have a print edition. There's an edition with page numbers, but no format.
You can have a librarian correct/update the record or use the ebook verification thread to determine if there is a print edition.
Audiobooks that do not have a written word equivalent, either published in paper or digitally, may NOT be used for SRC tasks.

Paternity Case The only vote for the book on the Best Plot Twists list is yours.
From the rules:
3. For tasks that require reading a book from a Goodreads listopia list or shelf, the book must appear on the list or shelf when you access it and the player may not add books to the list to be used for that task.

The PB edition you linked states " Set between Nigeria and Cyprus, "
Please explain how this book fits the task.

Maybe the task description should say that the chosen book should have been added before the beginning of the challenge. I specifically searched for this requirement in the task description.
I don't find the wording in the rules "when you access it" covering this case, especially since everyone keeps adding books in their TBR shelf.

trishhartuk post 2048

Just FYI -
>If there are multiple editions in a format:
From the editions page (click all editions on the main book page)
Set the Format, beginning with Mass Market Paperback
Set the Sort By as "num ratings"
Use the top edition result to determine the page number for ebooks and audiobooks

MMPB De politiemoordenaar 284 +
Slugfest 276 +
PB Agatha Raisin and the Potted Gardener 192 = 752

No need to repost.

message 126: by Trish (last edited Apr 18, 2019 06:39AM) (new)

Trish (trishhartuk) | 3675 comments For Cop Killer, none of the MMPBs are in English and I always worry about using a non-English book to verify page count on a book I read in English, as different languages result in different page counts (http://www.media-lingo.com/gb/faqs/wi...).
So I used the top PB, which is also the one that corresponds to the page count/edition of the Harper Perennial ebook I read, which is what you want us to do with physical books, and is also the top one that comes up if you just check "all editions".

On the Agatha Raisin one, there was no MMPB, so again, I used the PB that corresponded to the page count/cover/edition of the kindle one I read, which is what you want us to do with physical books.

Still, at least the page count still works for the total, and that's the main thing! Consider me reminded.

Task 50.1 book 3 requires "a book with a TITLE that contains either one character name that includes a first and last name OR two character names."
Off the Rails does not contain character names.
