Tee Morris began his writing career with his 2002 historical epic fantasy, MOREVI The Chronicles of Rafe & Askana. In 2005 Tee took MOREVI into the then-unknown podosphere, making his novel the first book podcast in its entirety. That experience led to the founding of Podiobooks.com and collaborating with Evo Terra and Chuck Tomasi on Podcasting for Dummies and its follow-up, Expert Podcasting Practices for Dummies. He won acclaim and accolades for his cross-genre fantasy-detective Billibub Baddings Mysteries, the podcast of The Case of the Singing Sword winning him the 2008 Parsec Award for Best Audio Drama. Along with those titles, Tee has written articles and short stories for BenBella Books’s Farscape Forever: Sex, Drugs, and Killer ...more

The day you hold the book in your hands.

I've been writing for over a decade in both fiction and non-fiction, and the feeling I get when the book arrives is similar to taking that first step on stage when it's opening night. It's an amazing feeling, and I feel it with every title.(less)

Take Me to the River: The 2019 James River Writers Conference

Back in August, it was GenCon and the Key City Steampunk Festival. In September, it was TwitchCon 2019. Now in October, I am heading home to Richmond, Virginia, for the James River Writers Conference. Pip and I were guests at the event a few years ago, where we met Bill Blume who went on to appear in a trailer I shot on (truly) the coldest night on record that year…

This year “Twi...

Really, really enjoyed the ride. A delightful ride with a good amount of nail-biting. I'm a sucker for a good hacker thriller and I did have a blast reading this. First time I read anything in 3rd Person Present Tense, and I thought the tense worked ...more

More of Tee's books…
“If there was magic in this world, it happened within sight of the three bases and home plate. All the gems in my world that decorated the walls and floors of dragons' lairs, the sword hilts of privileged princes, and crowns worn by emperors and kings, were nothing compared to the beauty and splendor of the diamond in Wrigley Stadium. It wasn't just a yard with dirt, chalk lines, bases, and a small hill in its center. Wrigley was a field of dreams. Dreams of eternal glory for the men who ran to the outfield, who took their respective bases, and prepared for battle against those who would dare enter their hallowed realm. Dreams for the kids in the stands, all wanting to don a uniform, kiss their moms goodbye, and wield their bats as enchanted weapons destined to knock the cover off the ball. And for the adults who had already selected their lot in life, Wrigley made the dreams of past innocence, lost wonder, and the promise that there was something inherently good still left in the world, come true.

Yeah, corny as hell. But all true.”
Tee Morris, The Case of the Pitcher's Pendant: A Billibub Baddings Mystery

“Right then," Campbell began, his tone so civil it was offensive. "May I have your name for the record, Miss...?"

"Eliza Braun," Eliza sneered. "Here, I'll spell it for you -- B-U-G-G-E-R-O-F-F.”
