Ed wrote: "For #83...complete works of Trollope..... will any of his novels work?"I should have spoken up. No. Only his play The Noble Jilt will work for this task.
And I'm sorry about that - I'd have been glad to read something more by him, as you know.

ok...thanks.... yes... I know you love Trollope too. Maybe I'll try the play.

Yeah....that thought went through my brain too.
There is also this list, which might include some titles not on the GR list. (If the GR original date published is different, please come here and ask.)https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1923_in...
I have two books to check on. The first isDiaboliad by Mikhail Bulgakov
It's on the 1923 Goodreads list, but the description says first published in 1925. I can't find another source that really backs up 1923.
The other is
The Good Soldier Švejk by Jaroslav Hašek
The compilation is on the Wiki list, but only the last parts are on the Goodreads list. He died in 1923 with the last volume unfinished.

The Bulgakov is 1925, and I have changed the original publication date on that page to reflect this.
The Hasek is 1923, and you are good with that. I have also changed the original publication date on the GR book page. Goodreads policy is to reflect the latest date of original publication when a work includes more than one volume. (This is why the Trollope complete works show 1923.)
If you read the Hasek, please note this thread when you post, just in case someone changes it back (or differently) and I don't remember.
That’s great! I had thought I’d use that for the BPtE but ended up not using it so I still have it laying around.
There are two books that will give you a combo with 10.7The Inimitable Jeeves by P.G. Wodehouse and Whose Body? by Dorothy L. Sayers
