Should we come up with a plan for how we're going to keep track of which books are being read for specific categories?

We're can make a copy of this and share it with our own groups. I tried doing it but it keeps saving in PDF format *face plam*
If any of you know how to do it please do 😊

Let me know if it doesn't work and I can send the link to you guys in an email

Sorry, I totally thought I had it set to allow you to edit it. My bad!

I'll add some of the books I plan on reading this month. They don't count for any of the bonus points though, so feel free to move them around if you have something that counts.

Will do!

Shout out to buddy read points! I can ask Abby/Sarah to restart a buddy read thread for

also guys I think that if we pick a book and it does fit the extra points prompts we should highlight the box so others can see... And in case someone else has a book that can get us the extra points : )

Thank you!

(+5 bonus points if instead, you read a book in less than 9 hours and 23 minutes, (please remember to update on Goodreads when you start and when you finish, for your book to count).)"
It makes more sense if we do the 923 pages. 3 book of 300 (or so) pages + buddy reads = to more points than the second option of reading in 9 hours.
I think this prompt will be perfect for you @natalia to fill in some books that don't fit well in other prompts.
I can take a spot too... I have an ARC that I need to read next month : )

1. Read a book in which someone suffers from amnesia, or has forgotten a period of time.
(+5 bonus points if the phrase 'can't remember' appears in the blurb of your chosen book.)"

"2. Read a book which has the letters 'L', 'A', 'T', and 'E' in the title or author's name.
(+5 bonus points if your chosen book actually has the word 'late' in the title.)"

5. Read a book with the letters 'W', 'I', 'S', and 'H' in the title or author's name. (+5 bonus points if your chosen book has the word 'wish' in the title.)

"21.
(+5 bonus points if your chosen book actually has the word 'fair' in the title.)"

"24. Read a book with a title which starts with either 'U' for up, or 'D' for down, ('A' and 'The' cannot be skipped) or which has the words 'up' or 'down' in the title
(+5 bonus points if your chosen book starts with a 'U', or 'D', AND has the words 'up' or 'down' in the title.)"

25. Read a book that a teammate has given up. (Solo players can ask another solo player for ideas, or read something tagged 'Given-up'.)
Azrah's dnf's https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...
"27. Read a book with the word 'be' in the title (for beware).
(+5 bonus points if your chosen book actually has the word 'beware' in the title.)"

"29. Read a book with an item of food on the cover, or in the title.
(+5 bonus points if your book has the word 'cake' in the title and a picture of cake on the cover.)"

34. Read a book with the letters 'F', 'R', 'E', and 'E' in the title or author's name.

45. Read a book which has two letter 'R's' in the title or author's name.
(+5 bonus points if your chosen book actually has the title 'Roar'.)

46. Read a book which has the letter 'S' in the title.
(+5 bonus points if your chosen book has the word 'strange' in the title.)

48. Read a book with the letters 'F', 'A', 'L', and 'L' in the title/author's name.
(+5 bonus points if your chosen book actually has the word 'fall' in the title.)

50. Read a book with something that you could throw on the cover (tell us what it is when you post your review).
(+5 bonus points if your chosen book has a chair on the cover.)

53. Read a book which has a dress on the cover.
(+5 bonus points if your chosen book has a big white ballgown on the cover.)

53. Read a book in which the main character has one or more children.

67. Read a book which has a word starting with the letter 'P' in the title.
(+5 bonus points if your chosen book has the word 'power' in the title.)
69. Read a book with the letters 'N', 'E', 'E', and 'D' in the title/author's name.
(+5 bonus points if your chosen book actually has the word 'need' in the title.)
Any other recommendations will be helpful 😃

(+5 bonus points if your chosen book has the word 'wish' in the title.)

Also, I added The Hazel Wood as a book I could read for #50: read a book with one or more trees on the cover. The bonus points are given for a title that has 'tree' in it, so if anyone is able to find something for the extra points I would be willing to switch!

Whoop!

So what are you guys most excited to read for the challenge? I think Rebel Belle has been on my TBR list for at least two years, so I'm excited to finally get to it. I won't feel guilty about not reading it anymore 🤣

all the books I picked for March I am very excited for because I've been meaning to read them for a while but I'm especially exited for

@Natalia when I was shifting your books around I checked out

The Cruel Prince and The Wicked King were so good! And the covers are gorgeous. 😍
@Azrah I'm also really excited to read A Curse so Dark and Lonely. I'm glad that we're reading it first because it's been so hard for me to not pick it up lol. I'm trying to take a break from reading until the challenge starts so I'll feel more motivated! My biggest fear before challenges is that I'll randomly end up in a reading slump. That would be tragic 🤣

I'm finally out if a reading slump and looking forward to reading a lot of books, this challanges always motivate me a lot.

Hello Team Ludo, just to let you know that I have messaged Crystal and Kate to let them know which team they're in. Hopefully they'll check in soon ☺

Thanks Sarah 👍

2. Read a book which has the letters 'L', 'A', 'T', and 'E' in the title or author's name.
(+5 bonus points if your chosen book actually has the word 'late' in the title.)

27. Read a book with the word 'be' in the title (for beware).
(+5 bonus points if your chosen book actually has the word 'beware' in the title.)

29. Read a book with an item of food on the cover, or in the title.
(+5 bonus points if your book has the word 'cake' in the title and a picture of cake on the cover.)

NOTE:
If your book doesn't fit a prompt properly and there is a possibility of someone else gaining the extra points... See if your book can fit in prompts 20 or 33 instead (below)
33. Read 3 books with 200 - 300 pages. (These don't have to all be read by the same person.)
20. Read 923 pages (can be made up from more than 1 book).
(+5 bonus points if instead, you read a book in less than 9 hours and 23 minutes, (please remember to update on Goodreads when you start and when you finish, for your book to count).)
*20. The points gained from reading three separate books of approximately 300± pages will gain us more points than by reading 1 book in 9 hours. (well only if the three books are buddy read then yes the points will be better) And Sarah also confirmed that they don't need to be read by the same person.

Would fill the bonus points req. My only concern is it’s a series still in progress so I don’t know if there are cliffhangers, HEA’s blah blah. But this could work as a buddy read too if anyone would be interested!

I have

Yeah I think it's better there. We still might find a book with the word tree.
When you post your review of the hazel wood use this edition https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3... it has 336 pages which makes it easier for another teammate to fit their pages in for that prompt 👍

Here is my dnf list https://www.goodreads.com/review/list... if anyone is interested in reading any of these.
You guys should post yours too!

Please try to only choose prompts with extra 5 points if you are able to gain the 5 points with your book choice
