Please use my cant-wait-to-read shelf. Thanks!

Carla (carlacollette) | 347 comments MountainKat—I hope that you find something that you like. Happy reading.

Africa – From your TBR, Shifter: Visions of Heat (Psy-Changeling, #2) by Nalini Singh Visions of Heat by Nalini Singh. I liked the first in this popular series.

Antarctica – Set in Antarctica: Where'd You Go, Bernadette by Maria Semple Where’d you go, Bernadette? By Maria Semple. This book has mostly crazy, somewhat unlikeable characters, but it’s great satire and ultimately satisfying.. Since this isn’t a romance, an alternative—Shock & Awe by Abigail Roux, no people on the cover. Shock & Awe (Sidewinder, #1) by Abigail Roux

Asia – The Best Man (Blue Heron #1) by Kristan Higgins The Best Man by Kristan Higgins is a sweet book at 426 pp that read quickly.

Commonwealth of Australia –Rich-I liked Duchess By Night (Desperate Duchesses, #3) by Eloisa James Duchess by Night by Eloisa James

Europe –Historical romance in England- Just Like Heaven (Smythe-Smith Quartet #1) by Julia Quinn Just Like Heaven by Julia Quinn

North America – From your TBR, Come Away with Me (With Me in Seattle, #1) by Kristen Proby Come Away With Me by Kristen Proby, set in Seattle, WA

South America –From your TBR, sports: Steamroller by Mary Calmes Steamroller by Mary Calmes

Ocean –From your TBR, From this Moment On From This Moment On (The Sullivans, #2) by Bella Andre by Bella Andre, water on the cover.

message 97: by Sassafrass (new)

Sassafrass (sass-a-frass) | 4195 comments Nancy H This was a hard one to pick! I hoe you find something that you like!

Africa: The Mane Event (Pride, #1) by Shelly Laurenston (TBR) or Magic Bites (Kate Daniels, #1) by Ilona Andrews (rec) Both of these are great shifter books. The first is very funny and the second is a bit more serious.

Antarctica: Where'd You Go, Bernadette by Maria Semple (rec) This is the only book I know of that has a setting at least in part in Antarctica. It was very kooky.
Goodbye, Jimmy Choo by Annie Sanders (TBR)--I really liked this title.

Asia: Size 12 and Ready to Rock (Heather Wells, #4) by Meg Cabot (361 pages) (TBR) or Head Over Heels by Susan Andersen (TBR) (352 pages)

Commonwealth of Australia: The Rosie Project (Don Tillman #1) by Graeme Simsion (TBR)--I hear this one is great and it's set in Australia! or Tempted in the Tropics (Suddenly Smitten, #2) by Tracy March (TBR)--this one has water on the cover

Europe: Secrets of a Summer Night (Wallflowers, #1) by Lisa Kleypas (rec), set in Europe AND is historical romance
Jemima J by Jane Green (set in Europe)

NorthAmerica: Hot in Here by Sophie Renwick or Simple Need (Simple Need, #1) by Lissa Matthews --Both are HOT so be prepared!

South America: It Had to Be You (Chicago Stars, #1) by Susan Elizabeth Phillips (sports TBR) or The Perfect Play (Play by Play, #1) by Jaci Burton (sports rec)--what about that cover, huh?

Ocean: Island Girls by Nancy Thayer (TBR) or The Sweetest Thing (Lucky Harbor, #2) by Jill Shalvis (rec)

Let me know if you need repicks. Enjoy!

Fran | 12307 comments Hi Kai!

Don't Bite the Bridesmaid (Sons of Kane #1) by Tiffany Allee Don't Bite the Bridesmaid (NEW)- fun vampire romance (not really a shifter, I stretched a bit) set on a ship.

Antarctica-
Insurgent (Divergent, #2) by Veronica Roth Insurgent (TBR)- no people on cover
Wicked Games (Games, #1) by Jill Myles Wicked Games (NEW)- free on Amazon. Group isolated on island. Survivor style romance, I really liked it.

Friday Night Bites (Chicagoland Vampires, #2) by Chloe Neill Friday Night Bites (TBR)- over 350 pages

Commonwealth of Australia-
If I Were You (Inside Out, #1) by Lisa Renee Jones If I Were You (TBR)- rich art dealers. I loved this sexy mystery book.
Enemies on Tap (Sweet Salvation Brewery, #1) by Avery Flynn Enemies on Tap (NEW)- Wealthy Hero, group buddy read for September!

Europe-
Yours Until Dawn by Teresa Medeiros Yours Until Dawn (NEW)- I love this historical, fairy-tale retelling of Beauty and the Beast.
Untouched by Anna Campbell Untouched (NEW)- I love Anna Campbell and this is a favorite of mine. Historical England.

N. America- both of these take place in the U.S.
The Princess Problem by Diane Darcy The Princess Problem (TBR)

Eat Play Lust by Tawna Fenske Eat Play Lust (NEW)- fun novella with a yoga instructor and a chef.

Ocean-
Uncharted (On the Island, #1.5) by Tracey Garvis-Graves Uncharted (TBR)- really good follow up to On The Island.
The Trouble with Paradise by Jill Shalvis The Trouble with Paradise (NEW)- Jill Shalvis is our FAC for September. This is one of my favorites by her. Quirky fun with a little mystery thrown in. Takes place on a ship at sea.
Surviving Raine (Surviving Raine, #1) by Shay Savage Surviving Raine (NEW)- I love Shay Savage and this one is so good. Cranky bad boy ( and I mean bad) ship's captain.
