I miss it too although I've had issues with half the books I've read. I love Novak's writing style. I also very much love small town romances. I dislike the Whiskey Creek gang and their gossipy judgmental ways. Still, I'm enjoying these books.

Kris (My Novelesque Life) (mynovelesquelife) | 2447 comments I finished listening:
-The Doll Factory - 4 Stars - I really enjoyed this one more than I thought I would. It is very gritty in description and darkness. I would recommend this on audio as I am not sure I would have finished it in book format.

-Invisible - 3 Stars - The audiobook was a real performance and would HIGHLY recommend if you are thinking about reading this one. I don't normally read James Patterson but I wanted to try David Ellis.

-To Die But Once - 4 Stars - one of my favourite novels in the series. A great mystery with emotional punches.

I finished reading Boy-Crazy Stacey (The Baby-Sitters Club Graphic Novel #7): A Graphix Book - 4 Stars - another great graphic novel in a series update.

The Doll Factory by Elizabeth Macneal Invisible (Invisible #1) by James Patterson To Die But Once (Maisie Dobbs, #14) by Jacqueline Winspear Boy-Crazy Stacey (The Baby-Sitters Club Graphic Novel #7): A Graphix Book

I finished listening to City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare, The Mortal Instruments #6, and it was an epic ending to the series! Here’s my review.

I finished Genuine Lies by Nora Roberts, an older romantic suspense that held up well. Here’s my review.

I finished The Widow of Rose House by Diana Biller and loved it, finishing it in one day. Here’s my review.

I’m listening to Butterfly in Frost by Sylvia Day and reading Murder on Trinity Place by Victoria Thompson, Gaslight Mystery #22.

Kris (My Novelesque Life) (mynovelesquelife) | 2447 comments I have finished listening to:
-The Killer in Me - 3 Stars - police procedural set in Ireland - a good mystery and characters.
-Your Life Is Mine - 3 Stars - an interesting suspense novel, but lacked something I could not put my finger on.
-The Child Finder - 4 Stars - well written and had me hooked - subject matter may not be for every reader.
-The World That We Knew - 4 Stars - this is a great example of Hoffman's magic realism. As you read, you forget about the fantasy aspects of the novel. As heartbreaking as this story was I "enjoyed" listening to it. (bonus - Judith Light is narrating this novel!)

I finally decided to give up on reading Girl, Wash Your Face: Stop Believing the Lies about Who You Are So You Can Become Who You Were Meant to Be. I expected this to be more of a self-help book, but is more a memoir and another platform for her social media.

The Killer in Me (Frankie Sheehan, #2) by Olivia Kiernan Your Life Is Mine by Nathan Ripley The Child Finder (Naomi Cottle, #1) by Rene Denfeld The World That We Knew by Alice Hoffman Girl, Wash Your Face Stop Believing the Lies about Who You Are So You Can Become Who You Were Meant to Be by Rachel Hollis
