2nd question if a single book applies for more than one category then do we have to chose one or count it in both?
Hi, Quick question, if I started a book last week in December but finished it today Jan 1st, 2021 can I add it to my book list or do I have to start and finish it within 2021? Thanks

Yes, if you go for easy, then it means you have to read one book for each alphabet letter
Aakanksha(call me asha) wrote: "2nd question if a single book applies for more than one category then do we have to chose one or count it in both?"No, you have to read 26 books for easy, 52 for har and 78 for insane, which means you cannot count the same book for more than 1 prompt.

No, as stated in the rules, "This reading challenge will start on January 1, 2021 and end on December 31, 2021. Books used for this challenge MUST be read during this time frame."

here to help with some answers..on the right side of the page when you open the book on Goodreads you have shelves, under genres, so you can check how other people shelved it ..and see if there is a new adult shelf.. as for this particular book I'm not 100% sure as it doesn't have a lot of people who have read it but some shelved it for collage which is New adult..
hope that helps and welcome to the challenge...Happy reading!!
Hi, I am new to this new adult concept although I’ve been reading it for years. I’m wondering about how to tell if it’s new adult. I’ve read all the suggestions and check the shelves associated with the books but I’m finding that it doesn’t seem to be very clear. Many of the books I think would fit because the character is 18-25 says young adult. I also saw hunger games on a new adult list and I consider that young adult. Could anyone clarify what counts as new adult for the challenge? Could a book be considered ya and new adult at the same time? A lot of the books I want to read say both in the shelves.

here you can find a short description of NA books: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
However, if you want to be sure that a book you're reading can be used for this challenge, check the "top sheves" section to see if people who read it have tagged it "new adult". As long as it has been tagged "new adult" I will consider it valid for the challenge!

Hi Chiara, does a book as to be tagged scary/horror or could it be kind of our perception of 'scary'? Because, I find books that doesn't have a happy ending or are extremely sad, scary.

Yes, I think it can be :)"
I think so too..
Hello, Im confused. Where did the link to the yearly challenge go? Its no longer under the challenge tab/heading? I didn't save the link. Thanks****nevermind....I figured it out :)
Until Tomorrow ComesThis is a new release so it has not been shelved new adult.
but the female character is 18 and the male characteris 13yrs older to her so can it be counted in age gap category?
Hello, I was wondering if Shades of Gray by Brooke McKinley is considered New Adult. It was a five star read for me and I want to include it. Thanks

Sorry for the late reply but I didn't get notifications :(

Hi Marta,
yes for the MYSTERY prompt the book needs to be tagged mystery/suspense/horror. If horror books are not your cup of tea, I suggest you try suspense because they're usually less scary!

Hi :)
The book is now tagged "new adult" by 2 people so you can use it for the challenge!
Aakanksha(call me asha) wrote: "i can't find my name in the participants list. Is it yet to be updated?"Yes I still need to upload the participants' list, sorry. Hopefully I will do it soon

I've checked and the book is tagged "adult". Also by reading the blurb it seems more an adult book than a NA. Do you know the age of the characters?

Sorry I didn't explained better what I wanted to say.
The letter 'S' with 'scary' needs to be a scary book as horror or it could be our perception of scary? That's why I explained about books that doesn't have a happy ending or are extremely sad are scary to me...

Uniform: doctor, vet, police officer, military, firefighter, school uniforms, etc. I don't think politicians use uniforms.
In the main page, in discussion board, you have the Q&A authors list, you just have to look for it. But here's the link https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...
