It's time to nominate for November's book club pick. A book you would think the group would enjoy.
One nomination per person.
Link to the title using the add book/author option.
Check here to make sure that we haven't already read the book
https://www.goodreads.com/group/books...
No nomination of your own book. Have fun!!

*****I guess I didn't clarify... it s a non-King book. The King books are in chronological order now so it's already picked out for the month of January.

Brax Henley (cheds) I don’t know how to do this yet. Haha.
I hope this link at least works!

I think Different Seasons will be April’s group read.

Brittany McCann (brittanylmccann) | 86 comments I nominate IT, which has already been read I am sure, so my secondary will be Dreamcatcher

message 9: by Nancy (new)

Nancy (paper_addict) | 942 comments You guys realize that all of King’s books are being read as group reads each month in order of publication, right?

January’s King book is Cujo.

Usually, every other month is a non-King book.

message 10: by Brax (new)

Brax Henley (cheds) I’m glad you clarified that because I was confused by all the King nominations. The linked list implied these were to be non King.

I read Cujo in high school, but I am now 32 so I think it’s time to reread it anyways!

message 11: by Chris (new)

Chris Leeper | 7 comments The troop - Nick Cutter ... won’t disappoint:)

message 12: by Nancy (new)

Nancy (paper_addict) | 942 comments I haven’t read it since high school either (and I am way older than you) so I am definitely ready for a re-read!

I don’t think anyone is clicking on the link for what we have already read to notice it says non-King.

Dianne (dianne1) Swan Song

Robert R. McCammon

I haven't been a member very long (active that is) so I don't know if this has been read recently.

message 16: by Lowell (new)

Lowell (lowellb23) | 1 comments King likes Lee Child. Even mentioned Jack Reacher in Under The Dome. Why not the first book, The Killing Floor.

message 17: by Jerry (new)

Jerry Balzano | 125 comments I nominate Melophobia by James Morris. I notice that a free pdf of this book is available on its Goodreads page, so accessibility should not be a problem for this book.

message 18: by Kevin (new)

Kevin | 1 comments I recommend ‘A Head Full Of Ghosts’ by Paul Tremblay.

The inspiration for one of the greatest movies ever made.

message 33: by Jenny (new)

Jenny a.k.a....Jenny from the block | 725 comments Thanks Nick; and I agree with one of the best movies ever made. John Wayne made many great movies and this will always be remember as a serious portrayal of Ethan Edwards. I am very curious to read the source material, which is why I’m nominating this and I hope we can get a second to nominate the book...

I'm in. I'm wondering if any of this made its way into King's epic western... THE DARK TOWER.

message 35: by Jenny (new)

Jenny a.k.a....Jenny from the block | 725 comments Great point Nick; only one way to tell is to read the book and although I’m in a pause with the DT as I left the Ka TaT on Blain for now... I will restart then journey again but there’s more different books I wanted to sink my teeth to reading before I pick up where I left off..... and why not start with the Searchers....

The most "western" of all the dark tower series is book 4 Wizard and Glass. Just sayin'.

message 37: by Jenny (new)

Jenny a.k.a....Jenny from the block | 725 comments Thanks Nick... book 4 for me the next I have to restart so... I will have to move IV further to the front and center... either way I’m going to pick up the Searchers next.... then book IV...
