Just in case anyone else is reading these books soon, I have them planned for this week:
I checked us in for the week. We met the goal of 125 points with exactly 125 points! If everyone can hold off posting any reviews until tomorrow 2/19 (after 3 am EST) I would appreciate it!

What's the verdict as to whether picture books (children's) can be used for page count? I'm taking an early childhood education class and could add some of those if they're allowed. I looked at the general rules and didn't see anything.
I think they count the same as manga. 1/4 page points.
Okay. I can put some of those in tomorrow for page points then.

And yeah, that's what I was thinking, about the notes. I'll skim them just to say I've read them for page points, of course, but it's good to know there's less content than I imagined.
So the SS for me this week is not putting things in automatically and I have to do my own math. I finished Radium Girls today and I entered that in, I believe my math is right but because the pages I read during the challenge period was 247, and because of my buddy read on the book it doubles it, shouldn't I have 2 for the book itself but 3 for the double page points from the BR because 247*2=494? If this is confusing the way I wrote it, can someone take a look at the SS to see what I mean? Thanks
Or does it just double the points not the pages if you do a BR?

Hi guys. We are at 89.5 points right now and the goal this week is 180 so I don't think we'll make it :) Do we get penalized if we don't make it? Or we just don't get bonus points? I think it's the latter but I'm not sure.
I have a lot of Anita Blake books on hold but that's not helping me right now. I also plan to read Heartless this week so that will bring us triple points.
I don't think we'll make it either. I'm not doing well keeping up with my reviews. Sorry guys. :(

Sorry I couldn't use Radium Girls to count for more! It took me four months to read it, so it didn't work in the challenge frame, so I could only log part of it (with 2x points for BR)

Just do what you can! Reading should be fun, even if we are competing in a challenge. Otherwise, you burn yourself out!!
Thanks! Yeah, it’s definitely important to keep having fun! I’ve been enjoying the reading when I have time, but I’ve just been busier than I expected lately.
