Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments So we need 577 page points a week? O.o That seems high?

message 52: by Jammin Jenny (new)

Jammin Jenny (jamminjenny) | 3851 comments No, that's the right number. It is high. We just need to try and do a lot of BRs and BOMs to double and triple our points. I think it will be hard for teams to reach 7500 points. We'll just have to lose as much as we can while still having a lot of fun.

message 60: by Felicia (new)

Felicia | 15003 comments The reason the weight is so high is because I didn't want people to get to zero. That's the whole reason it was picked. Lol. You just need to get as close to zero as you can.

The name of the game is to just lose as much weight as you can. And you will not be required to lose 577 weight each week. That's insane. Lol. The weight lose requirements will be much more reasonable than that.

Also, Book. I do not need the SS anymore after giving y'all the link to it. The SS was not made for planning purposes. The reason everyone has a SS is because each week when you put your books into the columns it will tally up how many points you've gotten that week so far so you will always know how close to reaching the goal your team is. The box that has a zero in it above the 'total' column is where you'll see your weekly weight lose so far. It adds up all of the total points for each book put in there. Obvi, as long as everyone adds their books when they've finished. You team cannot put books in there that haven't been reviewed on the review thread. Otherwise your point tally will be incorrect. The SS is for finished books. Not books planned.

That was a novel. Sorry. Lol.

I'll try to keep us on pace so we don't exceed our weekly goal of like 550 page points lol. In reality we'll probably get like 100 but I can hope. :P

Okay, so I noticed the Inheritance series or at least one of the books from it is on your list. I MAY be interested in BR it at some point during this challenge. I've been trying to convince myself to do it. My boyfriend loved them, so much so our dog's name is Glaedr. It's just very different than what I typically read, so I feel like if I have a buddy it may push me

I'm good with Jan 5th for it ends with us.

I have a BR set up for the beginning of the month for Queen of Air and Darkness because I was going to try to get Lord of Shadows done before this month is over.. that is definitely not going to happen haha. We can also set up one for the beginning of the month for Lord of Shadows. I will probably get those done within the first/second week.

We can set up a series read for WInner's Curse because I haven't read any of them. I am good with any day in the 2nd week.

Also let's do The Dog Stars sometime toward the end of Jan so like 3rd week.
