Same as Yanique, a little error in your Total Points formula. All fixed :)

I checked by adding completion date as today. Even then, the book points got loaded, but not the page and challenge points.

My book had 226 pages but the total pages in Main Page was 300+. don't know now though as Soo and Bill has added their books.
I fixed Julia's pages formula... it was reading 0, so Blood Eagles was in the lead with nearly 18 points and only 600 pages... pre-emptively fixed Rob's as well, since Julia/Rob have same setup...

You're better off checking the Participant Data page... that page pulls data from specific sheets, then the Main page adds them together and ranks them by team...

It was a problem for all green scoresheet. Just fixed it.
I think it was my fault.... Remember the 'your points formulas are all wrong' crisis, and how I copy-pasted like a madwoman to fix it?
I think that's when I screwed up the formatting, pasting entire cells instead of just the formulas x)

I actually am no longer sure my fix for pages was the right one... your pages total is broken as well... looks like that's where Rob/Julia took it from... i made their sheet a simple page counter to resolve the problem (like most people have, since they don't read GNs, I don't think)...
You're probably going to have to make your formula longer, with more conditions, if you want to keep only counting only 25% of your Manga pages... right now you have 0 pages and 0.2 points...

Thanks Virginie :-)

Do I put it on my tracker twice with a percentage of read & listened?
Like:
audiobook - 40%
print - 60%
Or do I just enter it once and note the audio percentage?

Enter it once and note the audio as a number instead of a yes/no, and it'll give you Points = (Pages * 0.1) + (Pages * 0.1 * 0.6 * 0.25) for an accurate accounting of non-audio bonus points...

I already have a pile of books that I know I'll be reading & listening to this year so it's good to know now.

I did reread the whole thing - wasn't very clear where the author was going with it - seemed to be a very basic story for someone like her.
Yea... full re-reads can be listed multiple times... probably shouldn't try and add extra pages because you re-read a paragraph/page 2-3x for comprehension, tho :)
I listed Iron & Magic 2x last year, since I read it as a new release, then re-read for my full series re-read in August...

No I only asked because I read the whole thing twice fully after listening trying to understand the deep meaning or whatever, though I'd you don't think I should I won't add it once in print.
I will obviously not add if I skimmed through.
Edit : It had no deeper meaning - went through her interviews later to find out.

Full re-reads are full re-reads... they count... just saying... I think Soo will have a harder time figuring out what to count... she does a lot of re-reading and re-skimming, and jumping between audio and print... I think she re-read The Brotherhood of the Wheel 3-4x during our Buddy Read last year (2017)...

I did that for mine too - same problem.

Yup, you did it well!
I knew there were still tiny little errors everywhere but I'm surprised by the sheer number of those :O :(

Yay!
I think those were my fault tho, because I moved a bit around in my sheet a few days ago and didn't think to check for errors so please don't feel bad! You guys have done an amazing job :D

Most are relics from changes we made to the template, so far... everybody using the basic template seems to be fine :)

The #Value errors probably didn't seem important, since the #DIV/0 graph errors are unavoidable without longer formulas to default to 0... especially since they will go away once people start adding books...

We both totally read graphic novels :) Looks like the page points formula still accounts for them on Julia's page. (and probably mine as well guilty by association). Not sure what wasn't working, it looked ok when I was entering points yesterday.

It was the page totals at the top, not the points on the side... and I/you should probably copy Virginie's formula again, then, since hers was broken and that's why yours was...
EDIT: Fixed it... 25% GN pages in the totals re-applied...

Thanks Iain :)

I read it a long time ago. There's a Time Traveler challenge in another group and we get a variety of points based on when the book is written. That lead to bunch of talk about classics in SF & F to older classics like Iliad.
Talk about Iliad lead to conversations about best translations to read. That lead to me doing research on translations. I know I read a translation by Alexander Pope. For the re-read, I had planned on doing it by audio. Once I looked into translations, my plan grew into a mini-project to read & listen to 3 translations. It was work to track down the right audiobook with the correct translation.
So I now have 3 audiobooks by 3 different translators: Alexander Pope, Richmond Littimore and Caroline Alexander.
An ebook of translations by Alexander Pope & Caroline Alexander. Pope is one of the oldest translations and CA is one of the latest line by line translation.
It took work to make sure I found the right copy of the Iliad with the corresponding translator on GR. Looking at Iliad editions is a mess and there's a lot of mistakes in there.
So, basically, I'm going to listen to the Iliad 3 times and read it twice. If I did it back to back, it would take me a week. I won't do that to myself though.
Audio Listening = I definitely do a lot more re-listening for denser stories or favs. If I did it within a short span of time, I count it as 1 read and make a comment in the review. There are a few books where I listen to the audio a bunch and read the print from cover to cover. That I count as two official reads. If I do a mix of audio & print, I just count it as one read. Basically, I have to read the print version cover to cover for me to count it twice when I do it in dual formats.
So total count will be five with 3 audio and 2 ebooks.

I would prefer the european (or whatever) version for mine though 😅

It's the Indian version too - I would prefer that too!

I'll be so confused trying to keep US dates straight.
EDIT: I'm not complaining honest, I appreciate all the work y'all have done on the spreadsheet so much!! :D

What I have done is - changed the display to show me -. 02-Jan - so that alerts me if I get confused with US date and enter the wrong thing.
Highlight the date column from row 15ish to the bottom... click Format, Number, More Formats, More Date and Time Formats, and choose the format you want... once done, everything should work correctly...

Ahh you're a star! I'll have a look when I get a chance on my computer. I'll break it on my phone! 😅

I just fiddled with it myself... it's a bit finicky, but I finally got it working... I made a Day/Month/Year format now, it's should be at the top, above the broken format I can't delete that goes //DayMonthYear lol... so just follow my instructions and click on that option... formula still recognized the book I read today as January and not February like we were worried about...
The reason it's like this is because Rob made the sheet, so the locale setting is set to USA for currency/time (so fractions use decimals instead of commas, as well...
