Hey everyone! Kat just posted a reminder/request in the Q&A thread. I think we've mostly been doing what she's asking, but I thought I'd share it here just to be sure we're all doing what we can to make her life a little easier! =)Reminders for Completion Posts!!
When making your completion posts, remember you must include how the book/s qualify. If the task states, for example:
L is for League - Read a sports romance, evident in either the précis or tagged.
Saying 'the hero is a runner' or 'MC is an athlete' doesn't qualify the book. Using 'précis states that hero is a football player' or 'tagged sports by 7 people' does qualify the book.
I allowed many qualifications this week similar to 'hero is a runner' but only when I found the evidence in the précis or on a shelf. That was a lot of work for me, but I want everyone's books to work! Please help me by posting correct qualifiers - thanks!
And a great big thank you to those who post a link, or page number for shelves, or how man people tagged the book with your qualifier. That helps me a lot, not required, but much appreciated! 😊
Date 7 - OO is for October
Read a book that has any edition published in October. Please list which edition qualifies your book, i.e. kindle edition, hardcover, mass-market paperback, audio, etc. The edition MUST be listed on GR. You do not have to read this edition, but your chosen book needs to have at least one edition published in October to qualify.
Remember books must be 90 pages and MPG romance!!
You have until Friday, February 8 @ Midnight US EST to post your completion(s).
Please ensure that your completion post conforms to message #2 of your team thread. If you complete more than one book for the date task, be sure to include that information in your completion post. Remember no discussion in your completion posts!

I don't have anything against the Packers like I do some teams (the two that played yesterday for example), but nobody will ever overtake the Seahawks in my heart. This was supposed to be a rebuilding year for the them too, but they did end up (barely) making it into the playoffs, so even though they lost in the first round I was pleased with their season overall. Looking for next year to be better though!

sooooo....you know how my life hasn't been all that great lately? well, when I went to pick up my Lily's remains, I slipped on the ice, and broke my ankle. I'm talented that way! =)Anyhow, I am going in for surgery tomorrow to realign the bone, but I have books slated for the next call. I just wanted to let you all know in case you don't hear from me until later next week. Hope you are all doing a bit better than I am! =)

Ah Kathy, I'm sorry you're having to deal with even more garbage! You just can't win these days, can you?! I thought I was having a run of bad luck a couple of weeks ago, but mine was just minor annoyances - you win the bad luck contest hands down! Hope the surgery goes well and the healing process is speedy...and the string of luck changes very soon!

Prose before Rosers,I've been traveling a bit and it is about to pick up. (Mkat and Karen, I'm in your back yard. I'm in California right now, but not for long).
I will not be able to attempt the speedy rose. I should be able to post completions by the middle of the week...definitely before Friday.

Both of your questionable books should be fine - Kat has already approved "mental illness" and "disability" tags.
I've got several books lined up too...I was amazed at how many of my M&G books work for this one!

I'm in Arizona right now with strong wind gusts. I'm no feather, but I thought they were going to knock me over. Compared to this, California was beautiful. No smog, nice and warm. We even went to Santa Monica pier and beach. The mountains had snow on them, so I'm assuming it must have been cold before we arrived.
Team, I should be able to squeeze in at least 4. I've been listening to books on the road. I just need time to post them. I can't post completions from my kindle, tablet or phone.
