I have two more Dust titles to go with yours :) Dust and Dust!

Other matches I've read in the past include:

Stardust with Star Dust
Blood Bound and Blood Bound
Radiant and Radiant
Radiance with Radiance
Traitors' Gate and Traitors Gate
Murder of Crows and Murder of Crows

Then several from the Iron Druid series, one word titles are almost always an easy bet for finding matches!

Hammered and Hammered
Hunted and Hunted and Hunted
Trapped and Trapped
each of these also has several more title matches I haven't tried yet.

The Kellerman Family (John, Faye, and Jesse) all have a lot of single or two word titles that have a ton of matches also.

This really feels like one that should be pretty easy to find along the way, I was finding so many extra overlaps just while looking up the matches I remembered!

I think it's easier for some people than others, depending on what your go-to genre is. Romance readers should be able to fill this no problem, while those who read mostly non-fiction or classics might have a little harder time.

Megan Bowder | 54 comments I haven't read any of these books but I just came across Borrowed Dreams by Debbie Macomber, Borrowed Dreams by May McGoldrick, and Borrowed Dreams by Susanne O'Leary.

Jacqueline (jacquelinemary) | 4 comments I'm going to read Snobs by Julian Fellowes and Snobs by Russell Lynes.

Raquel (Silver Valkyrie Reads) | 896 comments I just noticed there are a lot of books with the title Out of the Shadows. This is the one I was looking up, and looks interesting (especially for fans of Mary Shelley):

Out of the Shadows

message 106: by Nullifidian (new)

Nullifidian Would it be cheating to read a two-volume biography? I just noticed Charles Darwin: Voyaging and Charles Darwin: The Power of Place on my shelf, and it occurred to me that I hadn't read them yet. They've got the same author, Janet Browne, and the same title because they're both about Darwin, the first covering his life up to 1858 and the second continuing from there to his death.

I have other books I could read, but I'd really like to get these two off my TBR.

message 108: by Ellie (new)

Ellie (patchworkbunny) | 1756 comments I keep finding pairings I've read or read one half of, but it's surprising how many there are from non-obscure authors!

Pure by Julianna Baggott (YA post-apocalyptic)
Pure by Andrew Miller (historical fiction)

Thin Air by Michelle Paver (ghost story/historical fiction)
Thin Air by Richard Morgan (science fiction)

Thats a great Idea! I might have to think about it for a while...

And I was wondering what everybody is thinking about reading a series or a book with several volumes for this one?
Legit or cheating? ;)

Now I'm thinking My Husband's Wife and My Husband's Wife, since I at least own both of those and I was interested in reading at least one of them next year anyway.

I think that's what I'll end up doing too!

So far I've found a couple name twins of books I already planned on reading, but I imagine I'll keep looking.

Sadie by Courtney Summers Sadie by Jane Elliott

Scarlet (The Lunar Chronicles, #2) by Marissa Meyer Scarlet, Book 1 (Scarlet, #1) by Brian Michael Bendis

message 117: by Emily (new)

Emily I'm going with The Lost World By Michael Crichton and The Lost World by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle!

message 118: by Mada (new)

Mada (madelleine) | 13 comments I'm going with Going Postal by Sir Terry Pratchett and Going Postal by Don Lasseter. They seem wildly different from each other and the first one is aligned with my personal challenge of reading as much fantasy as possible for the following year. The second seems quite intriguing though, as I know nothing about the subject at the moment.

message 119: by Elene (new)

Charlotte Weber | 270 comments I'm trying to decide how close I want to stick to this prompt. Do I want to do an exact match of titles or a near match? I'm seriously considering using Clockwork Prince and Clockwork Princess to fill this prompt. They are already on my TBR shelf. If not, I think I'm going to go with the suggestion of the pair of One Day in December books.

message 125: by SadieReadsAgain (new)

SadieReadsAgain (sadiestartsagain) | 767 comments Seems like the possibilities are endless! I try to use the challenge to get through my physical TBR pile, so at least one of the books in the pair has to come from there. My options (some of them...) are:

The Miniaturist & The Miniaturist
Borrowed Light & Borrowed Light
Disobedience & Disobedience
Baggage: My Childhood & Baggage
Four Corners & Four Corners: A Novel
The Memory Box & The Memory Box or The Memory Box
Motherland & Motherland or Motherland or Motherland
The Missing& The Missing
The Changeling & The Changeling or The Changeling
Swansong or Swansong

Hopefully library availability will help me narrow it down!

I really enjoy Pavone's writing!

message 139: by KF-in-Georgia (new)

KF-in-Georgia | 117 comments I was just coming here to see if this would qualify since Wells' book was The Invisible Man, and Ellison's is just Invisible Man. (I only noticed that because they never alphabetize together on my reading lists.)

This is my first POPSUGAR Challenge, so I'm not sure how sticky the rules are on what qualifies. From what I've seen on other posts, it's okay to use a single book to fulfill multiple prompts? (Ellison's also qualifies as a two-word title--where Wells' would not)

The rules are as sticky as you want them to be. Personally, a the wouldn't be an issue for me, whereas I never use one book for multiple prompts. It's just what works for you :)

Caity (adivineeternity) | 164 comments I think I'm going to do The Lost World by Michael Crichton and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. My fiance has the Crichton and the Doyle I was able to get for free on my kindle. I can use Jurassic Park for the prompt with an extinct or imaginary creature, since I've never read it before and would need to read it first.

KF-in-Georgia | 117 comments I'm planning to use one book for multiple prompts in order to leave myself enough reading time for whatever comes along that I want to read outside the challenges. (I'm in two challenges with a total of 62 prompts.) I've read 60+ (so far) this year, but some of those were super-short, and I've got Hamilton* on my list for next year (book that should be made into a movie, and a book I wanted to read last year).

*Just remembered: I watched Hamilton's America on PBS and there was a shot of Lin-Manual Miranda reading Chernow's book. One book fitting three prompts!

Julie | 172 comments I'm trying to stick with as many from my TBR as possible, and at the moment I have Night Watch and The Night Watch, as well as Wonder and The Wonder at the top of my list.

I'm picky enough that for my personal challenge, I kind of don't want to use them, just because one has "the" and the other doesn't, but I'm thinking that shouldn't make that big of a difference. We'll see, I also have Feed and Feed on my TBR, too.
