Ashley (ashleym99) I read What Have You Done. I got this from First Reads as a free book as I have Amazon Prime. It sounded interesting and fit this category.

message 152: by Jeimy (new)

Jeimy (wanderingbookaneer) I read The Girl Who Stopped Swimming by Joshilyn Jackson. I found the book by searching the word "Who" on Libby.

I also read this one for the prompt and ended up liking it a lot more than I thought I would. I really liked how she used the "friend" to tell the story, who also became part of the story itself ... it was clever and ended up being more nuanced than I thought it would be. Have you seen the movie? I'd be interested to see how it translated to the big screen.

Wait, What?: And Life's Other Essential Questions by James E. Ryan
How did you find the book?
By the title. This question is a favorite in my aresenal of questions I ask at work. (Although, perhaps sometimes asked with more attitude than it should...)

When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit (Celebration Edition) by Judith Kerr

How did you find the book?
I came across it in the Goodreads 5 Ws list, and thought I’d read it for this prompt.

Beth | 450 comments I have just started listening to the audiobook of Why We Sleep: Unlocking the Power of Sleep and Dreams - very interesting so far

This is new to me but sounds fascinating!

Karen | 94 comments I just finished See What I Have Done by Sarah Schmidt for this prompt. I enjoyed it, even though almost none of the people in the book were likeable; it was just an interesting story.

I came across a review of the book once and added it to my TBR. This is how I find a lot of my reads.

Jody (jodybell) | 3477 comments Actually that reminds me, we have had drive through bottle shops (liquor stores) in Australia since at least back when I was a kid in the 80s ... it’s obvious where our priorities lie. 😂 We had drive through fast food and coffee places last time I was there (2014) but not a whole heap else, but things have probably changed since then!

Pam (bluegrasspam) | 3840 comments What are you reading for this category?
I wasn't sure what I was going to read for this week. I had a few ideas but it looks like I will be reading Who Slays the Wicked by C.S. Harris.

- How did you find the book?
I got lucky and won a copy from GR Giveaways. I don't know anything about the author or series. This one is #14. The other 13 books in the series all start with one of the 5 Ws, also.

Thanks Cheri for this book idea! It works for 2 of my challenges- around the world and translated lit! I'm definitely going to try to find it.

I loved Drinking Coffee Elsewhere! Read it years ago.

ladymurmur | 541 comments I read The Girl Who Saved Ghosts by K.C. Tansley for this category. I found the title by skimming through the list of books that I'd already read this year for any of the 5 W's. Read this one because it was the next title of a series starting with U that I needed for an alphabet challenge.

Added the first in this series to my TBR listing. (I hate the covers!) This sounds like a good one to start! Thanks for posting!

You're welcome, Lynn. I hope you enjoy it (and agree about the covers)! The premise and world is unique for most of the UF and YA that I've read recently, and it made for a refreshing change.

I've discovered so many good reads thanks to recommendations & choices posted in reading challenges. Glad to know that I can pass the joy along. :-)

Stacey D. | 1908 comments Agreed, Cheri! There are just so many great choices for this category. I chose this memoir When We Were the Kennedys: A Memoir from Mexico, Maine, because I loved the reviews...and the title.

I read What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty

How did you find the book?
This was a tricky one for me as there aren't a lot of chonks with these words in the title. I think I just ended up coming across this in my travels and was very happy to see that it was just over 500 pages.

Horton Hears a Who!

How did you find the book?
Since I'm running behind this year, and I'm running out of time, I started looking desperately for a short read. Then I remembered this classic from my childhood. So I guess I found it by searching my brain, lol.

Horton Hears a Who! by Dr. Seuss

message 184: by Andrea (new)

Andrea | 456 comments For this prompt, I read What I'd Say to the Martians and Other Veiled Threats by Jack Handey. In order to find a suitable read, I searched my nearest physical TBR pile. Low and behold I actually had three books that would have qualified!
