I am about to start Hearts Rekindled by Patty Smith Hall
Love it!! What did you think of the continuity? I really enjoy reading them.
Ooh, I think I have Hearts Rekindled right here on my shelf. And when I say right here, I mean downstairs in my office. :) I'm on my deck right now watching the rain.
With kids going back to school, anyone think they're going to have more reading time? I'm sure hoping to!

I just finished Butterfly Summer! I loved it! school time means they go to bed earlier which means mommy gets more reading time.
Jenn, I'd forgotten about early bedtime! YAY! I love putting my kids to bed, then taking a bath with a good book and a cup of tea. I'm glad you liked the book.
Sandra, looks like you're on a Lynette Eason binge. Isn't she great?

just finished The Husband Hunt by Karen Kirst which I loved, and now am reading Listen to your heart by Lrene Brand
I couldn't find any of the books I recently got from the used book store and didn't have time to go to the library, so I'm taking a break from Love Inspired and started reading Obsidian. Thought it was time I attacked the books piling up on my Kindle.I signed up for the monthly Love Inspired Suspense book thing (the name escapes me). I got my books yesterday!! Lost Legacy and At Any Cost
I really enjoyed the continuity theme of witness protection but unlike past continuities you didn't get to hear about a lot of the previous characters to much. I missed that aspect of the continuity.I love the Reader Service program Jenn!! I get the Love Inspired books and look forward to it every month!
Nina, I really enjoyed The Husband Hunt as well!
Jenn, isn't the subscription great? I get the LIH books on subscription because I love getting them early, plus I love not missing any!
Loves, I haven't finished the continuity yet, but hoping to get to it soon!

Laura K, I hope you enjoyed the Witness Protection series, especially Undercover Marriage. Ha! I'm a bit biased. LOLHey all I have a giveaway going now for my upcoming September release, Danger at the Border. https://www.goodreads.com/giveaway/sh...
I'm giving away 5 signed copies.
I just finished reading Lissa Manley's Small-Town Homecoming. Sweet book.
I was sucked into the Lux series. I was just biding time and started reading Obsidian and BAM!! I'm hooked. I've already read the second one, Onyx and started the third, Opal.
Finished Running Blind and am about 75% done with A Trace of Memory.I'm not so patiently waiting on my reader service books to get here. :)
I have had the pleasure of receiving a box fill of Love Inspired from a friend who subscribed. I have a shelf full of my own and am looking forward to reading and reviewing each title as I complete it in 2015.
I'm starting The Bride Ship by Regina Scott. I received it through Goodreads first-reads program. Released in November of 2014, the book is the first in her Frontier Bachelors series. Strong willed Allegra is heading to Seattle from Boston on a ship full of prospective brides with her young daughter, hoping to make a new start for herself. Clay Howard is her brother-in-law, tasked with escorting her home where she belongs but things don't go as planned. Clay has always loved her and Allegra will find herself needing his savvy once they hit wilderness country. Will she risk her heart to Clay? I know she will but can't wait to read the story as it unfolds. Review to follow.
Darlene, I just finished The Bride Ship a week or so ago. I really enjoyed it. I'll be interested to see what you thought. It's really amazing to me to see all the hardships the pioneers endured.
Laura, you know I'll be interested to see yours too!

So glad you shared Diane!! And glad you enjoyed it. What's next on your list?
How about everyone else? What are you reading?
You guys have to keep me inspired- I'm in the middle of getting ready to sell my house, so I am busy with packing, longing for the day when I can put up my feet with a good book!

I'm not sure. I really did enjoy the LI Suspense so I plan on reading more of them soon. I am totally involved in the Unearthly series by Cynthia Hand. It is YA and fantasy fiction and it is clean fiction, no swearing or sex. I am on the second book right now.
Wow, that's great to know. I have a teenage daughter, and I'm always looking for good books for her. She's not yet into romance, so I can't give her the LI books. :( These sound right up her alley, though!
Curious for those of you with teenagers in your lives... at what age did the teens become interested in reading Love Inspired books?

I am reading Desperate Escape by Lisa Harris. Usually I overlook proofreading errors but this one I have to share.Page 20. "Her eyes burned, and her legs threatened to give out, partly from fear, partly from the excursion."
I believe the word Lisa wanted there was exertion, not excursion! :)
Ha, ha. Could be a pesky Word autocorrect that got missed in copy editing. :)Nancy wrote: "I am reading Desperate Escape by Lisa Harris. Usually I overlook proofreading errors but this one I have to share.
