I am a 2nd grade teacher and I tell my students about the RaT and tell them to read a book for me today.
5) What are your goals for this readathon?
I hope to read a lot and enjoy the peace of this day.
I love to hear that you’re enlisting your students in the readathon — way to go! I hope you enjoyed “Desert Star” — I always look forward to the next Michael Connelly book, and I understand there’s a new one on the way for next fall. Hope to see you next time!

Did you accomplish your goals for this readathon?
I knew I would be in and out so I didn't make any goals. I just wanted to read for enjoyment.
How did your snacks and meals work out? Are there things you would change about the food and beverages side of your readathon for next time?
My food and drinks went fine. I enjoyed some honey mustard pretzels and a Cobb Salad.
Did you enjoy this readathon? What was the most successful part of your readathon? What would you change for next time?
I had a great time. I am happy with how everything went. Next time, I hope I use more time to read.
Will you be continuing your readathon reading past the end of our official readathon?
I think I will take a cool down lap for the next week and finish up the books I started. I am not good at keeping tracked of that though.

Looks like a good readathon! What do you think of Chain Gang? I tried listening to it a few months ago & had a difficult time getting into it. Maybe I need to try reading it?

I read from 3 books and finished one. I thought I had a great variety for the RaT.
2. Did you accomplish your goals for this readathon?
Yes. My goal was to have no goal and enjoy the reading and the threads. Which I did.
3. How did your snacks and meals work out? Are there things you would change about the food and beverages side of your readathon for next time? .
My foods were good. I didn't go overboard with the snack this time. One time I did and I ended up feeling sick afterward from too many snacks. I did eat my ice cream though.
4. Did you enjoy this readathon? What was the most successful part of your readathon? What would you change for next time?
I did enjoy it. I would change nothing.
5. Will you be continuing your readathon reading past the end of our official readathon?
Yes, today I will continue with a relaxed reading day.

Sounds like you and Bailey had a good readathon! I’ve heard good things about Framed, and Grisham is such a good storyteller. See you next time/year!
Sounds like you had a great readathon Vicki. I once overdid it on snacks too, felt like I needed to eat everything I planned. I've pulled back on that too.See you in April.
