Jeff nodded "Yes I will" he said ready to follow Ben.

Lucy squirmed nervously and crossed her arms over her chest, walking close beside Jeff as they followed Ben back to camp.
Jeff was worried at what was going to happen to him and Lucy.
Ben led them into his tent, holding the flap up open for them.Lucy ducked in and hugged her arms.
Jeff followed his eyes and mind alert and wary.
"Sit." Ben pointed at a bench as he sat down in a chair opposite the bench. Lucy looked over at Jeff before sitting down.
He slowly sat next to her and reached for her hand.
She took his hand and laced their fingers together."Okay, so. Where to start. Let's start with what you've experienced. "Lucy, have you ever seen things that were never there?" Ben asked.
Lucy swallowed hard and nodded. "Y-yeah."
Jeff clenched his jaw knowing that soon it would be out.
"Lucy...." Ben said slowly. "Have you heard of the word, necromancer?" He enunciated the word carefully.Lucy inhaled sharply and looked at Jeff, heart racing.
Jeff's eyes grew wide the worry of the last few days came flooding back.
"What does it mean?" Lucy asked, averting her gaze back to Ben. Ben scrubbed at the stubble on his chin. "Well, from what I've read and from what the elders told me, a necromancer is someone who can raise the dead. Make some sort of army of sorts. The corpses obey their master for bringing them back to life."
Jeff's skin pimpled up as he listened to Ben.
"But young ones like yourself shouldn't be able to raise any until they're much older." Ben said.Lucy gulped. "B-but I've done it. I think... More than once."
Ben blinked at her and sat back in his chair. "Hm, so they were right."
"Right about what?" Jeff asked loudly.
Ben smiled at Jeff. "That Lucy here," he pointed at her. "Is very special."
Jeff huffed "I already know that" he replied his face heating up a little.
"Not what I meant." Ben snickered. "Let me rewind a little; this camp is here to house and protect people with special abilities. I myself can feel emotions." Bens eyes darted between the both of them.
Jeff shrugged "So everyone here is special." he stated crossing his arms.
"Marie can produce fire from her bare hands." He continued. "Mark can read people's minds. The list goes on and on." He sighed.
Jeff rolled his eyes "So why have all the special people here together?"
"Because, Jeff. You were taken by some men not to long ago, no?" He grinned, knowing he was right.
"Yes, I was and who says they weren't part of this camp."
"The men who took you call themselves The Scarlets. They hunt and kill people like me. People like her." He pointed at Lucy. Lucy inhaled sharply, lost for words.
"Why would they do that?" Jeff asked leaning forward anger and fear of loosing Lucy welling up in him.
"Because they think we're freaks. Blasphemies. You name it. So that's why we have this camp." Ben explained, then looked at Lucy and noticed her distress. "Lucy, Marie is outside. Why don't you go play with her? I need to talk to Jeff alone. All good things. Don't worry."
Jeff stiffened not wanting to be alone with Ben.
Lucy stood up but didn't move. Ben sighed. "I promise I won't hurt him. I just want to talk to him about your safety."
Jeff looked at Lucy and nodded. The leaned back in his chair and looked at Ben.
Lucy returned the nod and stepped out of the tent.Ben sighed again and slouched in his chair. "They want her the most of all, Jeff." He said softly.
Jeff only could nod he knew if she could raise and army she would be valuable to anyone. "They wont have her she would die before she would hurt anyone" he replied.
"That's not my point. She is the most powerful one here. You know this. You saw her episodes. Yes they may have been accidents but imagine what she could accomplish if she actually tried." He told him, leaning forward with his elbows on his thighs.
"I can only imagine" Jeff replied "But she won't try, will she?"
"Now that she knows what she is she'll want to. We can't really stop her either. It's her own gift that she needs to deal with." He said, standing up and motioning for him to follow him outside. ((Everything is going according to plan()
Jeff nodded not saying anything. He stood and walked outside.((very good my pet, lol))
Ben stood outside the tent, watching Marie and Lucy play out in the distance out of earshot. He smiled. "Lucy would be a good mother. You can see it in the way she plays with Marie." He randomly said, lost in thought.Lucy tickled Marie, making them both smile and laugh.
Jeff smiled "I know that" he replied in a tone that let Ben know that Lucy was his.
Ben smiled. "She reminds me of my dear sister. Marie's mother." He frowned at the memory. Lucy picked up her skirts and ran around with Marie.
Jeff only nodded taking in the information Ben was willing to offer.
She died giving birth to her. My wife and I immediately took her in. Raised her as our own." He said nostalgically. He was silent for a few minutes before speaking again. "Don't ever let her go. She's to precious to lose."
"I don't plan on it" Jeff replied watching Lucy and the girl.
"Have fun last night?" Ben asked with a smirk.
Jeff laughed "Yeah the dance was great" he replied.
"That's not what I'm talking about." Ben winked at Jeff.
"The rest is not any of your business" Jeff replied smiling.
Ben laughed and clapped him on the shoulder. "I was two tents down. Heard the whole thing."Lucy stopped running around to catch her breath, her chest rising and falling. She looked back and Jeff and waved a little, smiling.
((Shit is about to go down))
Jeff waved back to her. "Then you know how much fun we had" Jeff replied as he watched Lucy.
((got to go to my lab))
Ben was about to reply, but the sound of a scream in the distance made him tense up.Lucy stopped suddenly and turned her head in the direction of the scream.
"They're here, They're here!" Someone screamed again.
Jeff looked in the direction of the noise and started to run to Lucy.
"Grab her and follow me!" Ben screamed in an orderly voice, picking up Marie who ran to him.Lucy's face pleaded panic as Jeff ran up to her. "What's happening?"
