Quick intro: I'm Cait, I'm originally from the Midwest but am currently stuck in Florida. Mom of 3 kids and a pack of 3 mutts. My favorite genres are horror and YA although I'll read a bit of anything except non-fic and romance unless I absolutely have to.
Looking forward to getting to know you all over the coming weeks!

I live in Arizona and I have two teens and a pitbull. I work from home on Monday and Fridays so I'm online a lot more on those two days :) I read anything that is romance but my favorite genre's are Urban Fiction/PNR, Suspense and M/M. I'm not a big fan of YA or historical although I will occasionally find a book I really like in both those genres.
I look forward to getting to know you all.
I guess we should pick a team name and a team captain. I have no problem being the team captain but if someone else wants to do it - that's fine as well. Saving a few spots at the top just in case I am team captain to post our roll/spots and completion posts. I'll delete if someone else is captain :)

I read just about anything I can get my hands on, and I usually have an e book, an audiobook, and a paper book going at once. Usually more than one of each. I am loosely following the Great American Read list, and the BBC equivalent list.
So turns out the mod wasn't paying attention when writing up the bonus point requirements, so here's an update to the starting and finishing a series bonus. What it was meant to say is:
✸ One point can be earned for starting and finishing a series. There must be at least 4 books in that series. Series + spin-off totalling ≥4 books also counts. For series with >9 books, point will be awarded for reading books 1-9.

With all players checked in and a sizeable list of back-ups, I'm making some last minute additions to the smaller teams.
Jenny will be joining you.
Jenny will be joining you.

I live in Phoenix, AZ, with two kitties. I own/run a picture frame shop, read like it is going out of style, cheer my Wisconsin Badgers and my Green Bay Packers, (I am from WI), watch/read way too much news, and love working my way through cookbooks.
I like well written books in any genre, but I mainly like fiction, science fiction, suspense and science books. I just picked up Bob Woodward's new one, and ordered Neil DeGrasse Tyson's new one, My bet is I will like Tyson's book better, the subject matter won't make me cringe as much.
There are a couple of series that I found on KU that look fun, so it will be good to get to them.

Week 1
Spot: 3

Book: Skim Blood and Savage Verse
Qualification: Offbeat Crimes #3
Finished: Whatever Date you Finish
Rating: Star Rating
Review: Your actual review of the book.

Updated your team name and put Danielle down as captain. Let me know if you want me to add Cait as co-captain.

Time to book hunt!

There is no requirement for a selection post that I see - although it's nice just so we know everyone has a book and is working on the task.

Plenty of pages :)

GR says 158 pages so you are good on this one.

Such a good series. I highly recommend the first two. I will report on the third one when I am done.
