I'm absolutely going to try for bonus points. I'm torn on which one to try for right now - the read only series numbers (which is what I usually do anyway) or the read a whole series (I have the first nine books of this series which could also knock out a lot of U titles for spell-it-outs). We can only get the bonus point once per team, so if anyone is planning one of those could you let me know and we can divide things up. :D

✸ One point can be earned for reading a book with >500 pages.
✸ One point can be earned for starting and finishing a series. There must be more than 4 books in that series. Series + spin-off totalling >4 books also counts. For series with >9 books, point will be awarded for reading books 1-9.~ No re-reads on this one.
✸ One point can be earned for never picking a book from the alternate lists. This point is awarded when your team rolls past 90.
✸ Halloween Bonus: One point can be earned for reading a Horror/Paranormal/Urban Fantasy book for the roll on 10/26.

So turns out the mod wasn't paying attention when writing up the bonus point requirements, so here's an update to the starting and finishing a series bonus. What it was meant to say is:

✸ One point can be earned for starting and finishing a series. There must be at least 4 books in that series. Series + spin-off totalling ≥4 books also counts. For series with >9 books, point will be awarded for reading books 1-9.

Oh shoot, and I have a bunch of trilogies on my TBR that are either almost finished or ready to start. Guess I need to do a deeper dive into my series list. I probably won't be much help with the bonus points!

A whole trilogy will do just fine for the "read 3 or more books from the same series" bonus though. ;)

Remember that ≥4 books series needs to be read in its entirety as part of the challenge if you're going for that bonus point, so a series you've already started previously won't work.

As I understand it, we can only get one bonus point per task per team. There are 5 bonus tasks and six of us. We (in theory) could be finished in 9 rolls, so I'd have to the read the Undead series for every turn. So if somebody has a shorter series they want to start and finish, please speak up so I can read different books. :D Thank you!

I believe that the bonus points are earned individually, but they can only be earned once. Not by each member of the team. Which is why we were talking about who might try for which bonus point. Slytherpuff might have to correct me if I'm mistaken. If you think you would like to go for a bonus point, now's the time to speak up.

According to the rules, you'll need to leave at least a 3 sentence review of your book when you post your completion post.
