WOW! I am 3/4 through the third book on audio, and am liking it. I agree about this death, so sad.

Susan I liked that one. Have you read

I also started Anne's House of Dreams by L.M. Montgomery this morning.
I'm reading now Bonds of Justice, and the next ones possibly will be The Brazen Bride, I'll Be Slaying You and Unchained. I don't know if I'll read any cozy in the middle.

Finished reading Sugar Creek by Toni Blake last night (book 2 in her Destiny series). Loved it! But now I have to wait until January for book 3, Whisper Falls. Sigh...

Is it worth it? I've never had the desire to read it but if you think it is worth the struggle well maybe I will try it.

Sandie: That was a fabulous book wasn't it! I thought it was a great read but wish Grissom had more detail at the ending. I thought she cut it off too abruptly--I would have liked to read more on what happened as they rebuilt, etc.

Right now I am reading Stuff: Compulsive Hoarding and the Meaning of Things. As I've explained before my s.o. has a problem with hoarding and I guess I do too when it comes to printed material like books and magazines and even newspapers. However when I read about some of the cases in the book we aren't nearly as bad as some.
Next up will be Debbie Macomber's new book Hannah's List. I have been waiting for it for MONTHS and it only has a 14 day loan and I'm not going to let it go back without reading it and have to re-request it and then wait another couple of months.

I like the Betsy, Queen of the Vampires books. Well, until the last one, which I thought was terribly mediocre. I'm hoping the new one redeems the series.
Love the Undead series, but have not yet read the most recent one. I especially liked her diatribe in book 8 about "text talk." Hehe...

That sounds similar The Guardianwhich I have in my TBR bins.

Haven't read this Macomber book but it does sound a bit like the book/movie P.S. I Love You. The movie starred Gerard Butler, Hillary Swank, Kathy Bates, etc. and required at least a half box of kleenex

I tend to read a lot of post - colonial novels set in India or Africa ... and my other favourites are British mysteries or Polics dramas - Ian Rankin, PD James, Ruth Rendall and of course Agatha Christie ....
I'm also trying to catch up on the classics that I know I should have read by now ...

Started Tempted by a Warrior by Amanda Scott today, but not very far into it yet. This is the book I won a few weeks ago from the GoodReads First Reads giveaways. Figured I'd better read it right away, before other books grab my attention.

I read that all in one day! I LOVED it. What a great book for young girls. So much more realistic than some of the other YA books out there.

I absolutely LOVED A Great Deliverance. Elizabeth George is one of my favorite mystery authors. The relationship between Lynley and Havers is awesome.

That is one of my all time favorite movies! I must watch it once a year or so.

I love it too!

I am enjoying it so far. It's a pretty lengthy series, right? Lot's of good books to read!

I also have to read a book called Love in the Present Tense as it can't be renewed at the library. Will give a review when done.

I absolutely LOVED A Great D..."
Indeed it is a very long series! But enjoyable. :)

Add me to the list of those who read UF. I read about half UF and half cozy mysteries these days. I used to read a lot of fantasy and still dabble in that as well as...well just about anything, even non-fiction. But UF and cozies are the main.
