Thanks Heidi and I did!!! I have finished all three---they really blew my mind!!! I went to the author's website and read he had outlines for 8 mo' books! It is so sad that Larrson passed away before he could enjoy the runaway success of his books!!!

I just started This Must be the Place by Kate Racculia. It's pretty good so far, a little rambling in a few places though.

Besides cozies? I read pretty much anything I can get my hands on! :-) I read fantasy (reading Tanequil right now), historical fiction, espionage, health books (I start back to college to get my degree in holistic nutrition in March!), parenting books, various non-fiction, a little sci-fi, "hard-boiled" mysteries, horror, you name it - not big on romance or religious stuff. On tap for the next few months I have: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Outlander, The Surrendered, Under the Dome, The Kitchen God's Wife, and Imperial Bedrooms to name a few! (Of course, I'll have to wedge in some cozies as well!)

Judge & Jury did end up getting a little graphic. There was an incident with a child that really bothered me. Anyway, I finished it and started listening to Step on a Crack by James Patterson this morning.

I also started Anne's House of Dreams by L.M. Montgomery this morning.

Finished reading Sugar Creek by Toni Blake last night (book 2 in her Destiny series). Loved it! But now I have to wait until January for book 3, Whisper Falls. Sigh...

I'm finished "Breakthrough," by Suzanne Somers. Talk about an eye-opener. If only I had read this before my mom was treated for cancer, she might be alive today.

Sandie: That was a fabulous book wasn't it! I thought it was a great read but wish Grissom had more detail at the ending. I thought she cut it off too abruptly--I would have liked to read more on what happened as they rebuilt, etc.

I just finished reading Mastering Online Research: A Comprehensive Guide to Effective and Efficient Search Strategies for work related information/training. Anything I can get my hands on to improve my researching skills on the internet.

Right now I am reading Stuff: Compulsive Hoarding and the Meaning of Things. As I've explained before my s.o. has a problem with hoarding and I guess I do too when it comes to printed material like books and magazines and even newspapers. However when I read about some of the cases in the book we aren't nearly as bad as some.

Next up will be Debbie Macomber's new book Hannah's List. I have been waiting for it for MONTHS and it only has a 14 day loan and I'm not going to let it go back without reading it and have to re-request it and then wait another couple of months.

Saw a u-tube interview with her and she is contemplating a sequel that continues with the next generation concentrating on the Elly and Jamie storylines.

Going to start Kraken by China Miéville soon. This book looks like a total thrill ride and has actually received some very favorable reviews. I love reading books about scary monsters overtaking cities and museums. Has anyone read Relic by Douglas Preston? If not, run to the library or bookstore and get this book. It's still one of my favorites. Happy Reading!

I also just finished reading The Silver Needle Murder by Laura Childs. Today I'll start The Enchantment Emporium by Tanya Huff and continue reading The Strangely Beautiful Tale of Miss Percy Parker by Leanna Renee Hieber.

I am reading another YA book . I noticed straight away the similarities to Harry Potter, I hoped it wouldnt be too similar as I dont like been able to tell bits are 'borrowed'but its no so bad. In the school there are also Vampires and Shapeshifters.

I started Hannah's List last night and have about 100 pages to go. I love Debbie Macomber's books and this one doesn't disappoint. The premise of the book is that Hannah, the main character Michael's wife, dies a year before the book starts. On the first anniversary of her death Hannah's brother, Michael's best friend, gives him a letter that Hannah asked him to give to Michael on that day. In the letter Hannah tells Michael that he should get on with his life, find another woman to love and have children. Hannah provides a list of three women that she thinks would be suitable. Michael is still grieving and he can't even imagine dating let alone falling in love again. The book goes from there. I won't spoil it for anyone that might want to read it. I will say that it is very good.

I'm reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix for another group on GR. I'm just getting into cozies, and it seems like I might enjoy them as a break after reading more intense authors like Tess Gerritsen or Stephen King, or 800-pagers like HP. :)

Haven't read this Macomber book but it does sound a bit like the book/movie P.S. I Love You. The movie starred Gerard Butler, Hillary Swank, Kathy Bates, etc. and required at least a half box of kleenex

I tend to read a lot of post - colonial novels set in India or Africa ... and my other favourites are British mysteries or Polics dramas - Ian Rankin, PD James, Ruth Rendall and of course Agatha Christie ....

I'm also trying to catch up on the classics that I know I should have read by now ...

I absolutely LOVED A Great Deliverance. Elizabeth George is one of my favorite mystery authors. The relationship between Lynley and Havers is awesome.

I started reading The Cookbook Collector: A Novel by Allegra Goodman. Recently I read a cookbook collecting and pricing guide and I must have seen this book when I was looking for more books like the collecting & price guide. I'm 63 pages into it and it has nothing to do with cookbooks. So far the story is good but I am kind of mind blown that it doesn't have anything to do with cookbooks!

I also have to read a book called Love in the Present Tense as it can't be renewed at the library. Will give a review when done.

Add me to the list of those who read UF. I read about half UF and half cozy mysteries these days. I used to read a lot of fantasy and still dabble in that as well as...well just about anything, even non-fiction. But UF and cozies are the main.
