How long should we wait to contact any missing players?

I usually wait 'til the 1st if it isn't the sort of challenge that requires planning. Then I message them and remind them on the 1st or 2nd, and if they still haven't checked in I look to replace them on the 3rd or 4th. Are you missing many people?
