I haven't read any of your choices but when in doubt, go culinary, so I choose the Merry Wrath books for you. Happy reading!
Jennifer,Jennifer, I've only read the first of the Jack Daniels series, but I really enjoyed it, so I'll choose that for you this month. Enjoy!
Nell wrote: "Welcome to the challenge everyone. Pairs are posted in msg 2. Please pick a series for your partner by the 25th."I don't think I realized until today how much you spoil us Nell. Usually pairs are posted by the time I get to work (at 8am) and today I've been "patiently" waiting for them to go up. I hope you had a good weekend and thank you for all your hard work in this group.

I was at a conference. My return flight was delayed for hours because of thunderstorms. The announcement was made after everyone was on board and settled in for takeoff. We had to get our stuff and deplane. (It's against regulations to make passengers sit on a plane for more than 2 hours - thank goodness! Yes is was a pia but sitting on the plane for 8 hours would have been much worse.) When we finally arrived, we sat on the tarmac for another hour waiting for a gate so we could deplane. I didn't get home until almost 3 am. It was exhausting! But I can't complain about people keeping us safe. The flight crew kept thanking us for our patience - nobody had a meltdown, not even the kids. Plus I finished the cozy I was reading and it was really good!

OMG, that sounds horrible. So glad you were able to make home safely, even if it took forever. And please don't think I was complaining, I knew you'd get things up when you could. Like I said you spoil us and I appreciate it.
Wow, Nell. That sounds like a pain. But, at least you had a good book!! That usually makes things bearable for me. ;-)
I agree, Linda! Nell, you keep things moving, and we appreciate it. (And we don't tell you often enough.) Glad you're home safely.
Hi Jeanne,Tough choice, but I am going to go with Book Retreat Mysteries by Ellery Adams for you in August. Hope you enjoy!
Hi Conni,Am also a devoted reader of several of your choices, so this was a particularly difficult decision for me. That said, I finally decided on the Coffeehouse Mysteries by Cleo Coyle. It is one of my most favorite series and I hope it is yours. Happy reading.
Vanessa, You have a lot of great picks on your list! I think I am going to pick the Lucy Stone Series by Leslie Meier for you. Hope you enjoy them!

Hi, Kristina! I have not read any of your series choices this month. That said, I now have added all five to my TBR list! They all look great! I'm torn between the Rizzoli & Isles series and the Key West Food Critic series, but, since it's summer here in the U.S., I'm choosing the Key West series as it seems more like a light, summer read. Hope you enjoy them! And thanks for introducing me to all these new series. --Barbara
Thanks, Barbara! I love that series. 😍 It's a great pick for summer. And I’m always glad to help anyone keep a healthy TBR pile. LOL

On to the next!
Finished Tippy Toe Murder 8/30/18 - Some reviewers mentioned if they had read this one first, they would not have read any more. I can see why! This was pretty dark for a cozy... not sure I will continue with this series.
Hi Barbara. Love your theme! I haven't read any of those series except Barbara Ross' Maine Clambake and I'm right where you are. Let me know if you enjoy the next couple.
I just finished my day and then read the posts back to Nell's nightmare trip. So glad you were able make it home safely, Nell.
