Happy August! Can't believe we're already at this point in the year.

I'm still making my way through Starting Over by Lila Rose.

Romanticbookworm | 77 comments I am still reading and loving Frostbitten by Kelley Armstrong (Library book) book 10 in the Otherworld series.

I love KA Otherworld series, Romanticbookworm. Happy reading! I thought she did a great job with her YA books as well.

Romanticbookworm | 77 comments Hi Okie I have loved Kelley Armstrong's writing for years since I started on my Otherworld Journey however a few years back I stalled on Personal Demon but having now overcome it and loved it then reading Living with the Dead last month, I am looking forward to seeing what happens in the remaining books although I will be very sad to see this series end as I love most of if not all the characters in this world.

I already have the final three books out of the library ready to go. I also have Summoning to start by Kelley Armstrong once I finish my Otherworld journey.

I'm glad you got back on with KA books :) I was so excited when The Otherworld made it onto tv!! Have you by any chance seen season 1? It's on netflix right now. It's a bit different from the series and some of the characters get on my nerves but I liked it. Can't wait for season 2 :)

Romanticbookworm | 77 comments Unfortunately not I missed it with me being in the UK so I will need to wait for a repeat of the show or the DVD release.

Phoenix77 | 346 comments I'm starting my week with I Adored a Lord by Katharine Ashe. After that I think I want to read Pamela Morsi's newest book Mr. Right Goes Wrong.

I devoured Susan Mallery's summer trilogy this weekend (When We Met, Before We Kiss, Until We Touch). I think the middle one might be my favorite. It was certainly the spiciest! I liked the third one a lot too, but I felt like the hero's "stubborn mistake" (like Mallery does in almost all of her books) was a little too over the top. The first one was ok but not my favorite. Now I'm really wanting to read the next one--A Christmas book, I think--but I'll have to wait. Le sigh.

Rachel Hill | 487 comments I gave up on the rest of the divergent series. I'm reading Outlander by Diana Gabaldon now with my friend bc we watched the premiere of it on Starz and liked the show....generally books are better than the show...but I have a feeling that it will take me a hot minute to get through all 7 books!

Lol, yeah, Rachel, they are some seriously long books. But good!

Susan (susaninaz) | 1075 comments I'm slogging through a recent RITA winner, Five Days in Skye. The descriptions of the scenery are too wordy, and the internal dialog could use more active verbs to liven it up. I'm surprised this won an award, since the prose is "journeyman-level". Hopefully the plot will redeem the prose and editing deficiencies.

Kim | 17 comments I reading Maya Rodale's Wallflower Gone Wild (Bad Boys & Wallflowers, #2) by Maya Rodale , which is making me giggle - it's the 2nd book in this series, and while some of the characters are definitely caricatures, there's a wry, self-deprecating wit from Hero that I am enjoying.

As they were recommended on here I have now read all the Courtney Milan Turner series books and really enjoyed them, although the heroes started off a tad too arrogant for my liking they soon won me over, especially Ash who I loved and felt sorry for all the way through the series. The only one I didn't much care for was Smite, I won't say why because I don't want to spoil the stories for those who have not yet read them. Thanks to those who recommended these great books. Just got Lynsay Sands To marry a Scottish Laird, love her books.

Susan (susaninaz) | 1075 comments Unlike Five Days in Skye, London Falling is terrific! Another Cinderella story with likeable, realistic people, believable tension, and a funny Aunt Dottie. Hard to believe that this was her first book.
