Olivia | 7 comments I read this in the early 2000s/late 90s maybe. Im pretty sure it was old then. It’s told in two parts, with two different kingdoms. It’s a love story I’m pretty sure and it follows a prince and princess from one of the kingdoms. Each kingdom has a different power. One kingdom, the princesses I think, has really powerful illusions. They use it for everything, decoration and even they put it over the food they eat, so when they eat their slip, they see and taste a huge delicious meal. Maybe the two have to switch places or they’re supposed to marry each other? I’m not sure.

Aspiring Scribbler | 68 comments I don't know this book, although it sounds fascinating...

Just in case it jogs your memory (or someone else's) in other books that involve using illusions in that way the power is often called 'glamour'. Is that the term used in your book? Or did the power have another name?
