"It's pretty obvious dude, I can see it every time you look at her. And it wouldn't be screwing with it, there's no danger to you and Hailey being a thing. Hell, maybe it would make you smile more every once in a while," Hunt continued to tease, grinning.
Nick rolled his eyes. “Unless we don’t fit together in a romantic relationship. Then what? We act like it didn’t happen? I doubt she’d be able to do that.” He replied, not acknowledging the tease. “I sold 95% of my smiles to ace anyways.” He shrugged. “Keeping the flock together and stable Is more important than whatever love life I could have..”

"So you don't think I should try anything with Ace then either? Cause if it didn't work out we would need to still stick it out for the Flock?" Hunt asked with a raise of his eyebrows. He wanted everyone in the Flock happy and it killed him when he saw Hailey and Nick looking at one another all the time with that gross puppy love. He just wanted them to be a thing already!
“I think that you and ace already fit together and it wouldn’t affect the flock dynamic or anything. We all want you together anyways.” Nick replied softly. “I just. Even if I want Hailey, I don’t think it’s a wise idea for us to be together. In fighting or anything, our minds need to be on protecting the flock. Not worrying about each other..” he explained.

"And everyone else wants you two together. Man, you just need to stop worrying about what if's, alright. You're both great leaders and I don't think you two being an item would really effect how much each of you would care about us when it comes to protecting everyone else," Hunt replied to him, shrugging his shoulders,"When it comes to protecting people, yeah, Ace is the first person on my mind, like back at the house. He was who I was thinking about first, but that didn't stop me from helping everyone else. And I don't think it would stop you guys either."
Nick shrugged. He knew that Hunt was right. But still. He didn’t want to risk it. “She can go ahead and make whatever moves she wants or whatever. I’ll leave it up to her on what’s gonna happen.” He relented, figuring he’d wait and see what Hailey wanted to do about it. If she even felt the same, which he doubted.

“I might as well try throwing hints at a wall.. Hailey doesn’t notice stuff like that. At least from what I’ve tried.” Nick answered with a shrug. He looked down at the approaching town and looked for a good place to land.

"Well make the hints for....I dunno, obvious? Or just straight out tell her you like her, that's sure to work well," Hunt said with a chuckle, able to see a convenience store from where they were. He let Nick decide on where to land though since Hunt had a habit of, somehow, choosing very bad spots to land.
“No... Nope. I’m not doing that.” Nick said quickly. He flew down and found a spot to land. H landed easily and closed his wings. He glanced at him and ran a hand though his hair. “Lets go..”

"It's an idea!" Hunt called after him as he started landing, following behind him. He tucked his wings close to his back and made sure they were hidden before he started following Nick.
“It’s a stupid idea.” Nick corrected. He ran a hand through his hair and started walking to the convenience store. He didn’t know what to do about Hailey, not wanting to mess anything up between them and the rest of the flock.

“There’s not that much tension between us...” nick said quietly. “And it’s not like me telling her how I feel is suddenly gonna change that..” he shrugged at him. “Besides, it’s completely unimportant until we get the rest of the flock beck together....”

Hunt had a feeling he wasn't gonna get anywhere with Nick right now. He'd probably try again some other time. They got to the store and he went inside, already scanning to see where the exits were and how many people were in there, though he went straight for where the pain killers and medicine were.
Nick ran a hand through his hair and followed him into the store. He’d let them talk more about what to do about Hailey later. He wanted the flock back together first. They could go from there. He followed hunt, keeping watch for them.

Hunt looked through everything that they had, just deciding to get the strongest things that they had. He was turning to go to the register when he noticed something in the candy isle. Raising his eyebrows, he went over and looked at it."Hailey mentioned that she wanted to try these," he said as he picked up a packet of Cookies and Cream Hershey's drops, the smallest one they had,"Get that too. You can personally give it to her too." He winked at Nick and wriggled his eyebrows a bit.
Nick followed hunt, trusting him to get the medicine he needed. He raised an eyebrow at the candy. “Uhhh... Okay.” He said softly, grabbing the package so he could take it to Hailey. He glanced at hunt before going to the register.

"It's called she'll appreciate it, just do it," Hunt replied, grabbing one more thing of candy before following Nick up and putting what he had up on the counter. The girl behind the counter just looked like any normal 21 year old, rang up all their stuff and told them their total with a small smile.
“Dude. You know her better than I do it seems..” nick shrugged at him. He ran a hand through his hair and watched them ring up the total. He paid the girl, smiling a bit back at her.

“I pay attention to important details. What snacks Hailey wants isn’t the most important detail.” Nick shrugged. He smiled and took the change from the girl. “Thanks. You too.” He said kindly and he took the bag as well. He walked to the door.

Hunt scoffed at him, not saying anything though. He just followed Nick out the door, glad that there wasn't any trouble to be had. He started back the way they had come, glancing around a bit as they went. It was starting to get darker now.
Nick rolled his eyes at him once they were outside. “Look. If I focused that much on her, I’d miss out on more important details..” he mumbled. He headed to where they’d landed earlier, giving the pain meds to hunt and tucking the candy in his pocket.

"It might not be a life or death detail, but it's a small, considerate one that she'll probably appreciate," Hunt said with a shrug of his shoulders, taking the pain medicine and as well as the other candy he bought that wasn't for Hailey,"But maybe I'm just silly for taking in and remembering everyone favorite foods and colors and shirt and song. I don't have the "fighter" instinct you and Hailey do."
“Well. Thanks for the assistance then..” Nick said softly. He kept walking with Hunt and looked around. “It’s not silly..” he assured. “I’m kinda glad you all don’t have that fighting instinct. We want you guys to be able to be kids/teens and not have to worry about that stuff...” he shrugged at him.

"Well stop treating it like it's silly then," Hunt said a little bit pouty. He was in a bit of a pouty mood now, he was just tired and in pain and anxious. He was not the most collected out of them all, he tended to react in the most extreme ways out of everyone.
“I’m sorry. That wasn’t intentional.” Nick said quietly. Once they were far enough away, he jumped up and opened his wings. He started to fly, making sure Hunt kept up. He knew Hunt was sore and exhausted and that made him moody along with the stress of everything so he didn’t think too much of how he was acting.

Hunt sighed a bit and followed along with him, wiping his wings out when they were far away. He winced a bit from the pull and strain, but he was up with Nick a few seconds later going back towards the cliff where Hailey was waiting.
Nick flew quickly but didn’t go too far ahead of hunt. He was anxious to get back and then get into the School and find the other two. He glanced around as they neared Hailey.

Hailey was, of course, still there when they got back. She was leaning halfway over the edge of the cliff though on her back, seeming to just be...chilling out."What the fuck are you doing?" Hunt asked as they came down and he closed his wings.
"I'm trying to crack my back," Hailey replied to him, adjusting her body slightly so she was dangling over more,"It's stiff from all the flying I think."
Nick landed and closed his wings, going over to Hailey. “Stand up. I can crack it for you..” He said softly, looking at her. He held his hands out to pull her back up so she wasn’t dangling off the edge of the cliff where she could fall or something.

Hailey looked at Nick when he offered, shrugging. She reached for his hand and pulled herself up and dusted all the dirt and any rock that got onto her off."Weirdo," Hunt said as he opened up the pain medicine, popping a few in his mouth and downing half of his water bottle with it.
“Whatever you say, weirdo.” Nick answered, pulling Hailey up. He shifted and put an arm around her, pressing his fist against her spine to crack it for her. He’d done it many times before for her and any of the rest of them so he didn’t think much of it.

Hailey was used to receiving back cracks from Nick, he needed to do it for her quite often when she worked too much or decided to be too much of a slug and lounge around the house all day. She grunted as he did it, her spine in that area cracking quite a bit."Oh...excessive flying sucks," she groaned a bit.
Nick slowly moved up her spine, cracking all of it for her. “Well too bad. We can’t avoid it.” He shrugged at her. He finished cracking her back and let go. He took a step back.

(( Okie! ))Victor frowned as he turned once again in his little makeshift bed, sitting up and rubbing his eyes. After the initial falling asleep a hours ago when the other 3 left, he hadn't been able to get anymore after he woke up. He finally caved and pulled the blanket back, walking over to where Faye was keeping watch.
"I can't sleep," he told her, sitting down next to her.
Faye watched outside from where she sat a bit closer to the mouth of the cave. She glanced at victor when he joined her. “I’m sorry..” she said faintly with a shrug. Cass was still sound asleep and she didn’t want to wake her so she kept quiet. “It’s not too dark. You could draw or build with your legos?” (I was thinking their cave should be safe still but Faye and victor fly out to go get water or something and get attacked there? Is that okay or were you thinking something different.?
"So, when are you gonna tell her you're into her?" he asked with a smirk on his face.
