"Yeah...I know," Zar replied to him with a sigh, running her fingers through her hair. She yawned a bit and decided to try and catch a nap, if she could manage anyways. She curled up a bit on her side and blinked slowly, trying to make herself sleepy.
Ace nodded slightly. “Is there anything I can do?” He asked her softly, wanting to help if he could. He knew he wasn’t Faye or anything like her but he could still try. Right?

Zar opened her eyes to look at him, shaking her head. She didn't think there was anything, other than him just sitting there and being close to her.
“Okay,” Ace nodded slightly and left it at that. He stayed close to her, looking around the room quietly to keep himself busy. He hated the sitting still and not doing anything but there wasn’t much more to do unless they pulled him out for some testing or something.

Zar was quiet after that and just tried to slip into sleep. It worked, sort of, but it was mostly just very light sleep, not really managing to fall into anything deeper than that.(( Do you wanna skip and go to one of the other two groups we got? (: ))
Ace sat with her for a while, keeping quiet so she could rest. (Sure! Skip to the others getting there maybe and starting to case the place out? Or some trouble with the ones left behind?)

(( Yeeee! ))"Guys, I think I see it down there," Hailey said at she saw a large building from where she was slightly hovering in the air, looking down at the map that they had taken from the house. There was a small area that they had marked as where they thought it was at and it seemed they had been pretty spot on.
"Fucking finally! My wings are killing me," Hunt groaned as he came closer to Hailey, looking at the big building amidst the trees,"Oh yeah, that's it. I can see the yard right there, you see? That's where they would get the Erasers run around. And I bet if we go around a bit more we'd be able to see the Birdcage."
Nick hovered beside Hailey, glancing over the map. “Yeah. This place is it..” He agreed softly. He looked around for a moment before flying up a bit higher to get a better view and see if anything had changed while they’d been gone. “Birdcage is still there. Looks more secured though.” He told them, biting his lip.

"Oh well that's fantastic," Hunt complained, flying up higher to where Nick was, wincing a bit as he did. Those few hours really killed him, but he wasn't down for the count yet."Think there's a way we could get in there? We could try to fry the lock they have, if we can get what we need for it."
“There’s gotta be a way in and out of there so yeah. I can go fly down some more around there and check it out..” he offered, knowing Hunt was still sore and probably needed to get some rest. the more rested he Was, the better off he’d be if it came down to a fight.

"Flying down there would be one hell of a risky move, they always have security around that place and you'd for sure be seen," Hunt said, looking down at Hailey,"What do you think we should do?"Hailey was biting her nails, trying to figure that out exactly.
"We need to figure out someway to talk to Zar and Ace, but that would be impossible since we would be seen," she said, not liking this plan, but she had an idea that it was the only thing they could do,"One of us needs to go in there, get taken, while the other two stay out here and work on the plan to get us out. I think the most effective would for sure be frying those locks."
Nick rolled his eyes. “That’s kinda the point there Hunt. Gives us a chance to see what protections they’ve got and how strong they are.” He commented softly. He glanced down at Hailey. “Then it makes the most sense for me to get captured. Hunt’s already weakened so we don’t want him weakened further. And chances are, they’ll be looking to run a ton of tests on you Hailey based on how things were before so I might be the best bet. I’m the strongest fighter and I can protect ace and Zar.” He told her, glancing down at her before back to the birdcage.

"Excuse you, strongest fighter? I kick your ass every time," Hailey said from her spot down below, raising her eyebrows at him."She kinda does," Hunt said to Nick, suppressing a smile on his face.
"I was the one they took out the most, I know the hallways better than anyone including all possible escape routes and some good hiding places. You and Hunt are gonna be better hot wiring something to kill that lock better than I will, I know next to nothing about that stuff," she replied. Her way of killing the lock would be to just smash a huge rock against it after all...
(Is it okay if I have nicks power start showing up now? Where he can go invisible after sitting still for a bit?)

(Okay. Sounds good. Just wanted to double check before just throwing it in there :)“Only cause I let you kick my ass.” Nick answered, rolling his eyes. He shrugged at her next comment. “Yeah. They did take you out a lot but you’d tell me the paths every time you came back. Plus, I’ve got an advantage that you don’t. Can we find somewhere to land and I’ll show you?” Nick asked, already looking for a spot.
He’d started noticing the power a few weeks back when he was supposed to be helping Cass with something but he just Sorta zoned out and relaxed and then she couldn’t see him. He hadn’t figured out everything with it quite yet but he was figuring it out and knew that he could use it to help escape.

Hailey wasn't gonna get into that with him again, the whole "who won fair and square" fight they had all the time. She knew it was her, Nick just didn't wanna admit it. She raised her eyebrows a bit at his words, but she nodded her head."Yeah sure, if we must. Come on," she said and started going down, Hunt following. There was a good spot on some cliffs that were far enough away that they wouldn't easily be spotted. Once they were down, she looked at Nick."Okay, what you got?"
Nick followed them, flying down to the cliffs. He landed easily and shut his wings. “Just give me a minute and you’ll see. He stuffed his hands in the pockets of his jacket and made himself calm down and focus on what he was trying to do. After a couple minutes, he was invisible. “Ta da..” He said quietly, keeping himself invisible. “As far as I can Tell and have been able to test, I leave no heat signatures or anything.” He explained.

Hailey and Hunt looked at one another as they waited, just looking at Nick. She was about to call BS after nothing happened for a moment but then suddenly, he was gone and her eyes widened."What the fuck?" Hunt said, mouth open wide as he looked over at Hailey.
"Wow.....How long can you stay like that? I mean, can you move and do it?" she asked.
Nick smirked a bit at their reactions. “Yeah. I can move.” He answered, walking around them in a circle silently. “It’s all about me maintaining my concentration on it once I shift. As long as I can still Sorta focus on it, I stay like this. But I could easily escape this way. Just go invisible and sit by the door. They’ll come in to check when they see that I’m gone. Slip out when they come in, possibly grab keys and stuff too.” He explained with a shrug.

Hailey listened to his explanation, nodding her head slowly as he explained. With Nick being able to do this, no one even needed to get taken. He could just get close enough to the Birdcage to talk to Zar or Ace, let them know what they were gonna do and when and they they would be home free."Yeah....I'd say that's pretty helpful. I don't even think you'd need to get taken that way, as long as we just quickly nuke the locks while Zar and Ace are in the Birdcage, right?" she asked, not knowing how long it typically took to destroy a lock.
Nick nodded, listening to Hailey. “Yeah. Or I could possibly even get in the cage with them when we are ready to blow the lock. Cause as soon as the lock goes, alarms will go off and they’ll be rushing to get everyone back inside.” He answered, still thinking of any changes they could or should make.

"Yeah, how would you get in though? They didn't exactly make it easy to crawl through," Hailey said, biting her nails again as she thought about it."You could dig a tunnel under it. You know, just burrow down there like some animal," Hunt joked as he slowly sat down on the ground with a loud groan, rolling his shoulders.
“They have a few people coming and going. Did you not see the parking lot?” Nick replied. “It’s called I just follow someone in and then just make my way around.” He replied simply, running a hand through his hair. He turned back visible again, glancing at Hailey.

Okay, you need to go in there and try and figure out how often they go into the Birdcage, it use to be everyday for us but they might have changed it," Hailey finally agreed. She hated needing to send Nick, but he did have an advantage over her after all. She wasn't gonna argue with that.
“Alright. I can get in there today probably and get back out. That good with you?” He asked. Nick knew that she probably wanted to go and be the hero instead but it didn’t make sense to not use the few advantages that they had.

Hailey honestly just didn't want Nick to be hurt, she would rather herself get hurt than anyone else in the Flock and that's why she hated sending him. She nodded at his words though, taking off her backpack."Okay, eat something first before you go though, we just pulled a long flight," she replied, taking out two cans of food and handing them to him as well as two granola bars. She pulled out the same for herself and also for Hunt, but gave him 1 extra of each cause, you know, super quick metabolism and all.
"There's a town a bit to the south, right? Would it be too risky if I went there to grab some pain medicine?" Hunt asked as he opened up one of the cans. He was in a lot of pain, which he hated, and needed something to help him.
"I wouldn't think so. You and Nick can go after we eat, then when you guys come back, Nick can go in there?" Hailey suggested, looking in between the two of them.
Nick sat down and set his backpack in front of him, opening it up. He thanked Hailey and took the food from her. “Yeah. We can do that. It’ll be a quick trip and then I can probably get in there with the evening people that come in, spend the night in there and then sneak out again in the morning. Well make our game plan then and then I’ll go back in or whatever we need to do before getting them out..” he agreed softly, opening up one of the granola bars and eating a bit. He went through his bag quietly, grabbing some of the weapons that he didn’t keep on his person unless he was gearing up for a fight.

"Alright, it'a a plan then," Hailey said and leaned against her wall of the cliff, looking around a bit. The area looked decent enough and it was a shame that in a place kinda pretty was such a horrible place. She hoped that Zar and Ace hadn't given up the idea that they were gonna come and find them. She wanted them to keep up hope as much as possible.
Nick nodded. He ate his food a bit quickly, ready to get stuff done and get in there so he could get the plan set to get the other two out. He took out his weapons and hid them on his person as he ate, wanting to be prepared in case he did get caught. He glanced over at Hailey. “Whatcha thinking?”

Hailey realized she hadn't even started eating when Nick spoke up, too caught in her own thoughts. She did finally looked at him though and sighed, running her fingers through her hair."I just hope they don't blame us, you know? That they aren't mad at us for letting them get taken. That they don't...think we're not coming," she replied.
“They won’t. Well. Zar might be upset but ace will help her. They’re not gonna be mad. They’ll probably be happy to see us cause we’re gonna get them out and get them home.@ nick answered softly. “Speaking of which, we’re gonna have to find a new place to go when we all get out..”

Hailey listened to his response and nodded a bit, hoping that Zar wouldn't be too angry with them. Maybe it had been a mistake letting Faye stay behind since the girl was closest with her."Yeah don't remind me. That's gonna be a pain, we're gonna be on the run for a while," she replied.
Nick shrugged. “All the more reason to remind you so we can start working out where to go. I’d say far. Like the east coast or even possibly Canada..” he said faintly, shrugging. He knew they needed a plan so they could go back, get the other 3 and then get far away.

"I was being sarcastic Nick," Hailey said with a small smirk, scratching the back of her head,"But I do agree. We thought we got far enough the first time but it obviously wasn't far enough."
Nick nodded, staying quiet for a moment. He bit his lip. “Is it possible that they’ve got trackers on one of us?” He asked quietly, thinking aloud. It would make sense with the erasers finding them in the middle of nowhere. He kept thinking about it.

Hailey looked at him when he suggested the idea, shrugging her shoulders."It's certainly a possibility that they could have one on us or even on all of us. They could have done it when we were too young to remember. But that doesn't really explain, if they did have a tracker on us, why did it take 2 years for them to come after us," she replied.
Nick shrugged. “Unless it was an experiment as well. Test how we do with freedom and then see the reaction when placed back in captivity?” He suggested, totally just thinking out loud. “I mean, the trackers can be pretty small. Like grain of rice sized. Maybe if we have them, there’s a limited transmit range so they had to get near us first?”

"I guess. We have so many scars on us though, it would be hard to pin point where one might be where they put something in. Unless it was an unnaturally straight line somewhere," she said,"If there's even a scar left over."
Nick nodded in agreement with Hunt. He glanced at him before back to Hailey. “Best way would be finding some sort of reader thing. Like they use for dog microchips..” she commented. “I can look for one while I’m in there...” he offered.

She still hadn't started eating yet, she was just a little distracted."Would be kinda hard for use to get an x-ray done though wouldn't it?""Yeah might be a problem. You know, go to the doctors, request an x-ray and they move your clothes, boom! Wings in their face. That's a good way to get locked up at the zoo," Hunt said around a mouthful of granola bar.
Nick smiled and chuckled a bit. “No. No. We wouldn’t need an X-ray. And we can’t really have them..” he replied. “Just a reader/tracker thingy. I’ll look for stuff when I’m there..” he assured, yawning and looking around. “Anything else I should hunt for?”

Hailey looked at him when he asked that, thinking of things. It would be interesting if he could find more info on their parents, though she knew he would need to do lots of computer stuff for that. Not worth the risk."I don't think so," she replied.
Hunt finished off his food and set it aside, standing up stiffly and wiping his hands on his jeans.
"I'm ready to go. You all done eating Nick?" he asked the other guy with a raise of his eyebrows.
Nick nodded slightly. “Okay.” He Agreed. He finished off the bit of food he was gonna eat for now and nodded. “Yeah. I’m ready.” He stood up and closed his backpack after putting the leftover food inside. He set his bag with Hailey, not needing it. “Let’s go then?”

"Yep," Hunt replied, spreading out his wings and going to the edge."Be careful you two," Hailey said to them, handing Nick the money they would need to get some pain killers.
Hunt looked at her and gave a thumbs up before jumping off and using his wings to flap upwards a bit.
“Course.” Nick assured. He thanked her and tucked the money in his pocket. He jumped up and opened his wings, taking off after hunt. He flew up decently high beside him, moving to get some distance between them so their wings wouldn’t brush.
