I will (unfortunately) fall short of total completion - having read 21 of 24 books (see message 10) (which exceeds my initial goal of 12 of 24). My current books will not work with this challenge, so I will consider the Summer challenge concluded and move on to the Fall challenge.

Relax on the Beach - Read a book with a beach (sand or shore) on the cover.

Shop at a Farmers' Market - Read a book with fruit(s) and/or vegetable(s) on the cover.

Sing Along at a Music Festival or Outdoor Concert - Read a book where the MC goes to a concert or where a character sings or plays a musical instrument.

Take a Road Trip - Read a book with a vehicle on the cover (car, bus, bicycle, etc.) 

Camp Out - Read a book with an outdoor activity (ex: hiking, kayaking, swimming, boating) or where the characters play a ball game.

Use Bug Spray (so you can enjoy being outdoors!) - Read a book with a character that bugs or annoys you. Tell us who it is.

Pack a Picnic or Host a Barbecue - Read a culinary mystery or a book with recipes.

Go on Vacation - Read a book where the MC goes on vacation or has a job in the tourist industry (ex: tour guide, runs a hotel or B&B).

Grill Hot Dogs and Hamburgers - Read a book with a dog on the cover or a book set in a city (burg).

Have Fun at an Amusement Park - Read a book that makes you laugh.
