Moving into her second decade working in education, Jodi Rath has decided to begin a life of crime in her The Cast Iron Skillet Mystery Series. Her passion for both mysteries and education led her to combine the two to create her business MYS ED, where she splits her time between working as an adjunct for Ohio teachers and creating mischief in her fictional writing. She currently resides in a small, cozy village in Ohio with her husband and her seven cats.

No joke! I've worked as a VP of a credit union, in insurance, advertising, communications, and education. For me, education was the most multitasking I've ever done! Now that I own my business and write full time (I write educational articles for affiliations, blogs, and publishers regularly--also, I write fiction--my cast iron series--two more series are currently being developed too) I multitask more than I ever have. I work seven days a week all hours of the day. I've never worked so hard in all my life. I never understood what people meant by the phrase "When you do what you love you will never work a day in your life!" Now, I completely understand that phrase. I have to force myself to sleep or not take my laptop to friend or family gatherings.(less)
