25.5 - Danibean's Task: Have You Thanked a Stage Manager Today?

Option 2: There’s lots of different jargon flying around when a stage manager calls a show. Choose one of the terms listed here and read a book by a single author whose first and last initials appear in that word. Middle names/initials may be ignored, letters may only be used as often as they appear in the word chose. REQUIRED: state the word you used.

I used STAND BY.

Taking Liberties by Diana Norman
I read the Kindle edition. The most shelved paperback (no MMPB) here has 448 pages.

Option 3: Thornton Wilder’s famous play Our Town includes the Stage Manager as a character, setting the scene throughout the play. For this option, read a book that includes in the title or subtitle one of the words from the excerpt of Stage Manager dialogue below. The word must be at least 4 letters, and match exactly the word in the quote. REQUIRED: state the word you used.

I used the word "houses" from the excerpt.

A Plague on Both Your Houses by Susanna Gregory
I read the Kindle edition. The MMPB here has 406 pages.

448 + 406 = 854, more than 600
