Reading progress and surveys

Monstress is good! I read a lot of graphic novels for the reverse readathon in July. That was fun! But every October I read only Stephen King books. I have 2 graphic novels from the Gunslinger prequels, an audiobook, and a couple of physical an e-books all by King.

I think I will include the books I hope to finish this week in my TBR list:

I will also be reading

Yes! Pre-readathon jitters/anxiety/excitement are real! I want to go to sleep NOW so 8am comes quicker! lol

So how is it going so far Lamilla?

3. What book are you most looking forward to for the second half of the Read-a-thon?
some quiet time for reading. Haven't decided on the book yet
4. Have you had many interruptions? How did you deal with those?
Yes, I have very little time to read
5. What surprises you most about the Readathon so far?

Good plan! I also have graphic novels and short audiobooks lined up. About time I listen to my Audible Originals!

what have you thought of the audible original freebies? Some have been better than others, but I've not been disappointed in any of them. I kinda wish they had more options each month since i have trouble finding two i want. However, it has gotten me to try some different genres/authors than I'd have otherwise read so there is that.

I haven't listened to any of them yet! lol. Not a one! I've heard disappointing things about a lot of them though. Like they're weird or too short or nonsensical. lol

I really enjoyed the trilogy!

I'm glad that I finished one selected book and started the other one. Having the bingo board in front of me helped me focused too. However, I didn't get to the third and haven't listened to any of the audiobooks I own - and didn't close any of the lines on the board
2. Did you have a strategy, and if so, did you stick to it?
I selected the books in advance, have them in front of me, have the bingo board for motivation + visited hourly discussions and other people's threads to feel the vibe. I didn't manage to read as much as I wanted too. Next time I'll include audiobook/easy read/something in Russian earlier

I'm still pondering my TBR. I'd say that I do some combination of TBR and spontaneous reading. The minute I call the stack of books "TBR" something in my brain balks at the thought of "planned" reading so I tell myself that the stack is just a stack of possibilites.
