Awesome!!

My progress: 5/6

2. Spring into Truth - Empire of Pain: The Secret History of the Sackler Dynasty by Patrick Radden Keefe - 4 stars
3. Spring into Power.
4. Spring out in Poetry - Урания by Joseph Brodsky - 4 stars
5. Spring into Freedom - #панталоныфракжилет: что такое языковые заимствования и как они работают by Maria Yelifyorova - 2 stars.
6. Spring into Joy - When Death Becomes Life: Notes from a Transplant Surgeon by Joshua D. Mezrich- 4 stars

For the last part of the challenge I'm reading Межвидовой барьер by David Quammen. The book is quite thick, I probably won't be able to finish it in time. Still, it is a fascinating read, and also the author predicted the covid pandemic
Mind of the Raven: Investigations and Adventures with Wolf-Birds! I watched some raven youtube videos some years ago. I was in love! Have you seen?

Not yet, Cynda!

Thank you, Ann!

I would need your help with one of the challenges for my bingo board. Here are 3 books from my TBR, please tell me which looks more appealing to you! I will read the one that gets most votes before Hour 5 of the readathon:

I have heard great things about The Vegetarian

The only one I have read is The Vegetarian. Although I didn't like it, you might. I'm voting for it so if you do read it, I can see what you think!
Have a great RaT and Happy reading to you!

Still time left to vote. I'd love to read any of the three

The Vegetarian!

Me too!
Moving some of my stuff outside now as it's lovely weather.
See you in a couple of hours!

Lamilla, see you starting strong with nonfiction about health. Stay strong! Enjoy your readathon.

During the first two hours I read for almost one hour and a half! Both books about health - Межвидовой барьер by David Quammen and Королевская история медицины by Ирина Лапина and co.
I also read some poems from Пейзаж с наводнением by Joseph Brodsky
I'm having a break for a snack (halva with tea) now.

We have a tie between The Vegetarian and The Raven at the moment. Anyone wants to cast a vote? :D

Feel free to vote for one of the three books for me to read in the morning!

Nice!

- How many books have you been reading?
I read from 3 out of my TBR stack
- Have you finished any?
Not yet, but I'm close on two. Fingers crossed...
- Are you on track with respect to your readathon goals so far?
I didn't set any goals, so everything is great! :D
- Have you eaten real food today? (Not just junk food, ACTUAL HEALTHY FOOD)
Of course. The readathon starts 3PM for me, so I had a proper supper and a breakfast already
- What was your favorite food or beverage so far?
I liked the new tea, green with flavouring
- Have you been participating in any of the activities on our social media?
I participated in two reading sprints (and read for an hour in the morning on my own) and I'm working on my bingo card as well
- Are you growing sleepy?
Fresh after the night sleep!
- Do you plan to nap, or stop early, or are you extending the readathon hours to include sleep?
Nothing of the above.
- Have you been outside yet today?
Yes, I have a dog, so we went to the evening and morning walks.
- Have you had much exercise (besides the heavy lifting required to hold your book)?
Unfortunately not.
How is your readathon going, overall?
- I haven't finished the books I planned, so I'll focus on them during the second half of the readathon. I'm pretty happy about the interaction with other participants in hourly threads and personal blogs

Looks like you had a fun read!
See you at the next one.

See you back here in July or October hopefully!

See you all July

1. Summer Vacations
2. Natural Beauty Scenes
DONE 3. Summer Projects - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
4. Seasonal Events/Celebrations
DONE 5. Seasonal Sports/Activities - Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - Hufflepuff Edition
😎Level Two😎 Something a bit Extra
Extra.1. Heat Up -- Read a book that warms your heart or spirit.
Extra 2. Cool Down--Read a book that brings you a little bit more peace ( chill out emotionally, spiritually, physically)

They have cover and coloured edges in the colours of the House (mine is Yellow for Hufflepuff), and additional notes in the beginning and the end of the book - some snipets about the house and notable wizards from it with black and white illustrations. Mine has pages on Cedric Diggory, entry to the Hufflepuff's common room and a picture of Helga Hufflepuff.
I have a couple of other books from the series in this edition: Order of the Phoenix with Ravenclaw blue and the first book in Gryffindor red.

Hi Kate! From time to time I reread one or two of the books, and this time it turned out to be almost a complete reread of the series (#1, #6, #2, #7 and now #4) :D
