Morning Kate! Good luck for the last few hours. I have to say, I made much better progress this morning than most of yesterday... hope it goes well for you too!

1. Which hour was most daunting for you? None, I paced myself reasonably well.
2. Tell us ALLLLL the books you read! Finished Batman: Death Mask and The Library of Unrequited Love continued Sharpe's Battle
3. Which books would you recommend to other Read-a-thoners? Short ones so you feel you've made progress!
4. What’s a really rad thing we could do during the next Read-a-thon that would make you happy? Its great as it is!
5. How likely are you to participate in the Read-a-thon again? Would you be interested in volunteering to help organize and prep? I'll be here next time. :)

I promised to let you know the menu so here it is:

Wow, that sounds amazing and fun!

An admirable goal. I think my goal will be more about time devoted to reading as that is where I struggle. I love all the online stuff and I let life distract me so I think I will go explore time spent on previous read-a-thons reading and set my goal! Thanks for the inspiration to have a "goal".

Welcome back! You can do it!

In the meantime I'm looking forward to the pre-readathon challenge of reading for 24 hours over 7 days. I think I normally manage about 8 hours so I'll be aiming for 12.

Breakfast: Grapefruit and/or croissants
Lunch: Jacket potato with cheese or coleslaw
Dinner: Pork & veg in the slow cooker then raspberries & chocolate mousse
Drinks: Coffee, hot chocolate, diet coke, lemonade
Snacks: Walnuts, marshmallows, chocolate digestive biscuits
The snacks aren't as healthy as they could be but I think there's enough fruit & veg on the list to balance it out!

Great job, Kate! OMG The Far Side! My dad had a couple of those books when I was a kid. I did not "get" them when I read them. lol!

Audio

They all meet criteria for various ongoing reading challenges, and the Iliad I've dragged out for every readathon I've done, and at the rate I'm reading it it'll be with me for quite a few more!
