Karen D | 111 comments Just finished The Wife Between Us by Greer Hendricks ! It was really good, I read it in a little over a day. If anyone else has read this and is interested in similar stories, I'd also recommend The Last Mrs. Parrish by Liv Constantine .

I just finished The Fire Pit (Faroes #3) by Chris Ould by Chris Ould. I really love the Scandinavian murder mystery authors, and this one is no exception! ♥♥♥♥

message 64: by Marty (new)

Marty (martymill) | 1300 comments I finished both of my regular picks this week. I really enjoyed Red Sister (Book of the Ancestor #1) by Mark Lawrence a lot, the medieval/fantasy/magical realm setting was great the characters were great, and the plot was very twisty. Five stars for that one.
Not as happy with The Mermaid's Daughter by Ann Claycomb , I guess it was just too sad for me at the time. It's well written and interesting though. Four stars for it.

I finished The Wonder by Emma Donoghue last night and it was very good. I struggled a bit in the middle of the book, as the primary action was the nurses's frustration in watching this young girl refuse to eat. But the ending is very good - worth reading.

Danielle Gypsy Soul (afdaniellet) | 1919 comments Anna,

Thanks for the picks. I finished them both and I really enjoyed one and didn't like the other one much.

Her Dakota Man 5/27 2 Star

I finished my last book today - The Beekeeper's Apprentice (Mary Russell, #1) by Laurie R. King and it was well worth the effort! Glad I found this mystery series and very much looking forward to more of them...
