April, thanks for your review of this book. I want to read it. I am sure it will be disturbing, but history repeats itself and the more we know the better. Yes, wonder the same about looking back in 20 years.

I started Yellowface, R.F. Kuang which so far I like. Will see how far this deluded main character will go to win acclaim.

If you’ve read it, please tell me it gets better. I’m almost halfway through and ready to give up. I’m surprised I haven’t already.

page 150 sounds like the world since 9/11. Shock after shock after shock. Until 10/7/23 when we don't think it can get worse and it just keeps getting worse, but a little worse than the last horror show (Ukraine) and the last (wild fire smoke out) and the last (Pandemic) and the last (Trump) and the last (Great Recession). And I think there a dozens more smaller but shocking events that just keep piling up.

The Women is not published yet. where did you get it?

If you like the TV Show "Once Upon A Time", I recommend this alot!!

Don't normally recommend books but this one I had to as it really helped me. It's called The Book Signing. It's so good and I loved how the author had awesome character description. Have a read.
